We had a new hot water heater installed yesterday. Antonio and Shane were respectful of the area they had to pass through by putting down a tarp, they installed all which took about 3 hours and then checked that all the baseboard heaters and faucets were working properly since the system had to be totally drained in order to install the new indirect water heater. The price was definitely competetive and in spite of the fact that the unit was 16 years old they will file paperwork to see if there is any warranty left on it. We might get a few bucks if there is. That would be a bonus.
Excellent work!!

Kurt, a technician from R.Lenny Plumbing came to my home to fix a reoccurring leak in my hallway. This leak had been serviced twice before by other plumbers in the past. First plumber opened the ceiling and found that pipes were fine . Closed the ceiling and checked further,no success. Again same routine with 2nd plumber some months later, opened ceiling , no leak there ,closed ceiling.
When Kurt said he had to open the ceiling explained it had been done twice before and the pipes were fine. He said he had to do it anyway and did. Pipes fine but he doesn't do ceiling have to get a contractor. Kurt found that a cartridge was the leak. Replaced cartridge and leak fixed. But bad news the hot water coil had to be replaced at $1,000.00 or more. Didn't believe him and felt he was discriminatory as I am a woman and in my 70's. So, called a trusted plumber who told me and wrote out that absolutely nothing was wrong with the coil. He had installed the furnace a year ago and assured me all was fine. Have had scaulding water ever since Kurt predicted , cold water would be present and never was. Aside from being untruthful and rude, I believe I paid $370.00 for a 6 inch coil and a whole in my ceiling and a package standing against my door that neither technician would even bend down to pick up but each one stepped over it. As a former teacher for 35 years and a human being these men were thoughtless and direspectful and lacking integrity. Never will be allowed back.
Kevin L.Highly recommend if you need any type of plumbing/heating service. Very professional, fair and honest.
FYI: Bruce, the owner, is a plumbing and heating genius.
They did our gas conversion this year. The price is very reasonable comparing to other companies. The machine Mr. Bruce recommended is great! It's quiet and very easy to set with the manual, and it's not too big for our home.
The pipes are lined up neatly, which is a big bonus for us, making our boiler room clean and a bigger space for storage. Everyone knows their job. They showed up and prepared well for each town inspection. I like Mike especially. He comes every time and he is very kind and professional, and he is always willing to explain for you.
The workers come wearing a mask always. The company is very responsive even via email, from Signe or Mr. Bruce himself for technical questions.
We are new to this area and have no ""plumbing person"" yet. I found this company myself for gas conversion and my husband is very pleased with their work. We will use them as our regular plumbing person from now on.
Quick response when we called about a gas boiler shut-off problem. Prices were outrageous, however...the plumber who did the job replaced 2 zone valves (retail cost about $150); then charged $500 more for approximately 45 minutes work. He informed us that it was 'our lucky day' (sarcastically) because it was really just a half hour job for which he was going to charge what I guess was a fixed rate. He did leave the work area relatively clean--maybe that was what was so expensive
Greg V.STAY AWAY BEWARE the owner doesn't stand behind his work and is very rude! He stated to my brother that he ""Gets Off On going to court"" . They installed a double check valve incorrectly and is now threatening to put a lien on the property. The entire job has to be redone!!
I had a complicated plumbing problem with my toilet....I called R Lenny Plumbing and Heating as I have done whenever I have a plumbing problem for the past thirty five years...
As always, when I call them, the receptionist and scheduler are pleasant to deal with, empathetic to the problem and make a timely appointment for the problem to be taken care of....
All of the technicians, like today's Chris, and the owner Bruce are always pleasant, professional, and fix the problem in the most effective and efficient manner....they aleays come on time, always explain what the problem was, how it was addressed and fixed, and they stand by their work guarantee.....they are ethical people...
Without question, I will continue to use them for any plumbing problem because they stand by their work which is always quality work..
Anyone with a plumbing problem should also use them and I know they will be as satisfied as I have been for the past thirty five years...
A B.I recently had to find a plumber to open the floor of my kitchen to fix broken waste line. I found 2 high rated plumbers.I went with R Lenny because of the honest price and prompt estimate from Bruce. The day came for the job wich took about 13 hours in 2 days. The plumbers were Mike and Antonio. These guys were awesome.Note only did they do a first class job and cleaned up to leave no mess for me to do later after job was over. Other issues were found by them as the job continued and all was addressed with no high preasure sales or con job like most guys will do to make a buck. They are totally honest which is rare in this business.
In short when you need a plumber who is honest, professional and fair you need to call Bruce at 12 dawn Drive in Centereach NY right next to the Suffolk Diner of Middle Country Rd. I am sure I will use them again for pending projects. Thanks guys. from Len B.
Does not give estimates for ""repair"" work. Instead you would have to pay for a service call ($125) and then if you go with them it gets applied.
Jack H.Great service. I have used 4 plumbers before using R Lenny. This company is great. I dealt with Michael and Bruce. They really went above and beyond to not only service our house but to also explain things to us in detail. We have dealt with rude plumbers in the past as well as ones who are always in a rush and don't give you the time to properly address any questions. It's refreshing to finally find a professional plumbing company. Thanks again guys, it is truly appreciated.
