John and RJ Plumbing is not just the best plumber, but probably the best contractor of any type that I have worked with since first becoming a home owner in 2002. I'd give them 6 stars, if I could.

I called about five plumbers to help re-build my tub drain and trap. Four came for an estimate, but just three actually provided an estimate. My house is on a slab, and two of them wanted to jack hammer the slab under my bathroom to get at the drain. It would also mean that I would have to find new 12"" tiles, which would never match. John took a little extra time to analyze how the original drain was constructed and came up with a much faster and much less expensive solution. I awarded the job on the spot. The key is EXPERIENCE. Other plumbers will send out a newer technician or a sales person to provide your estimate. As the owner, John has the experience to see the most options and provide the best solution. Fortunately, he also does his own estimates.

He arrived on time, worked with limited access and finished on time and on budget. The work was elegant and completed with a high level of craftsmanship (see photo). Amazing and wonderful. For your next plumbing project, feel free to get additional bids if you like, but make sure that one of them is from RJ. Even with just one job completed, I have a high level trust with RJ Plumbing.

Came home to a puddle on the dining table from the upstairs bathroom. Called RJ about 5 till 5 and he was here in 5 mins! Didn't actually fix the leak--had to remove tile to get at it--but slapped an extra seal on a dodgy toilet so it won't be a problem in the future. Great service.

Had a leaking toilet in one of our bathrooms and the toilet required replacement. John from RJ Plumbing removed the old toilet and installed a new unit in about 45 minutes! John's a real professional -- friendly, knowledgeable and personable. I've used RJ Plumbing in the past and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend RJ Plumbing -- you won't be sorry.

All of the other reviews are right on the money. It was partially lucky timing, because he just happened to be in my area, but he arrived in about 15 minutes. I had a problem with my Rheem water heater and he was on their list of referrals. I normally use another plumbing company and have been very happy with them. Now I am going to torn about who to call first.
John even took the extra time to order the warranty part for me from Rheem. He could have just left that for me to do.
Small business owners, like John, are the kind of people that you want to give your money to.

Great experience. John came out to move the gas line for my outdoor bbq and also re-do the gas line for the stove inside. Excellent work. I would definitely use RJ Plumbing again.

I've just moved into the neighborhood for about a year and my guest bathroom shower was not dispensing hot water. I called RJ plumbing based on the good reviews here on Yelp. They were able to schedule a 4-6pm time slot which was convenient for me to make it home from work without taking a day off. The lady gave me a ball park estimate over the phone based on the problem I described and sure enough the final bill was spot on. So no unpleasant surprises there. John showed up right on time and he was very professional and courteous. He even asked to take his shoes off before entering the house without me asking. That is first class. He showed me what the problem was and finished fixing everything under an hour. Now my shower is working like a champ and my friends will appreciate a hot shower when they visit. I'll definitely recommend RJP to others and I wouldn't hesitate to call them back again for future work. Great job!

A few different people had done work on the kitchen sink in the house we're renting, and every time one problem was fixed, another one popped up. I decided to find someone on my own and found R.J. Plumbing, full of 5-star reviews on Yelp. I called on Tuesday and the receptionist said she didn't have anything available until Thursday, but she could recommend someone else if I needed service right away. I said I could wait until Thursday, and she gave me an appointment between 2 and 4. John showed up right at 2, diagnosed and fixed all the problems, and was out by 2:30. He explained everything he did and showed me that everything was working properly. The bill was far less than I expected, having had some plumbing work done in the past, and I was extremely pleased.

I am very much looking forward to finally being able to wash my dishes without having to clean up a puddle of water afterward!

I searched Yelp! for a great plumber to help my dear Mom. RJ Plumbing was fully booked up for a couple of days, and Karen (in office, super great person) offered phone numbers to their competition if we needed service immediately. That was nice, but Mom's drain was just really slow, so we opted to wait for the RJ Plumbing with the super-fantastic Yelp reviews. .... Totally worth it. :-)

My Mom reports that a very tall plumber arrived who was super nice and clean & courteous, plus he was highly skilled. He cleared the drain, and replaced some fittings under the sink and made Mom feel at ease. She just knew things were going to be all right because he was so nice and competent. She said he is a thinker. He considered each part of the problem & the correct way to approach it.
And - way better than the previous lameo who couldn't fix a slow drain - RJ didn't make any mess. RJ totally solved the problem in all ways possible. We don't expect to have any more issues with Moms kitchen sink for years to come. BTW; RJ recommends against dumping cooked rice down the drain.

When it came time to pay the bill, he offered Mom a senior discount, so even including the extra parts & labor it was still not much over a hundred bucks. (Original estimate was $95) Mom was thrilled with the service, and we know who to call next time we have a plumbing issue. I can see why RJ Plumbing is booked up days in advance. :-)
This was truly a 5 star experience, that couldn't have been better.
