Everything was wrong with their work. I rent and my landlord uses them. I've had a serious issue with a smell coming from the sink and underneath it-it's an old house. I finally had my LL call them. I wasn't at my apartment when they showed up but they told my landlord they ""fixed"" it by using vinegar and baking soda, which I had done many times before, of course, along with anything else I could think of. About a half hour after they left, the sink and underneath smells just as bad as it did before they came. I'm SO angry-since I don't own the home I can't choose, but if you're looking for a plumbing service steer clear of this place.
Les C.We had a toilet leak and since, years ago, we had previous experience, RJ CURLEY. We were told a tech would be here 8-10 am.
Mr. CURLEY showed up ahead of time. Who does that? He quickly replaced the wax seal and replaced the guts of the tank. Finally, he cleaned up after himself.
While this was a relatively easy repair, CURLEY gets a five star for a quick, clean and courteous service call
I've used RJ Curley & sons in the 3 times this will be the last. I had a leak occur under the kitchen sink, the drain that was slightly recessed below the bottom of the cabinet. The guy came over and repaired it with this industrial strength sealer, the stuff smelled terrible. He accomplished this in about 12 minutes. Then he said, I'm going to go to the truck for about 10-15 minutes to let the stuff seal. He then returned and had a quick look and said your all set. A couple of weeks later I get a bill for $210. I called the office and spoke with the woman and explained that he was here for half an hour tops, including the time spent in the truck. I asked for a break and she said I'll call you back after I talk to her boss. I never heard back from her. I called the office 2 or 3 times and left nice messages, no return call. The nice thing is that they send you a bill in the mail. The surprise is opening up the mail and getting screwed over. I will never call them again.
This is the second voice mail to R.J. Curley that we made in the last few months and no one has responded. We did however use them in the past and the work was acceptable. I'm not sure why they would not return our calls.
I see that we are not the only people they have not responded to.. sooo unprofessional.
I left 2 messages for Curley to call me back on a job. I even filled out a request online off their website. Never heard back from anyone. Unreliable.
Once again R J Curley & Sons came to the rescue. Great guys showed up within a few hours after my call for help. Solidly blocked sink drains which I was unable to resolve myself over the weekend. Two great guys showed up, explained what they were going to do and within a hour the problem was resolved. They also gave me a recommendation for a long term fix which I will schedule soon. Thanks again guys for your service.
Installed a new Burnham gas boiler in July '19, problem with condensate drain caused boiler not to start, has now persisted for several months with several service calls in last two weeks. We are now without heat on 12/21 and are getting no reply to desperate calls. Help.
Charles T.This company has flooded the home I rent. They have used silicone caulk to try and stop a leak in a stack pipe. This company should have their license taken away...they are not plumbers they are hackers
They came the other day and charged us $125 for the guy to come over for two to three minutes to tell us that we actually did not have a leak. He did no work and left. $125!!! They are only 1.2 miles away so it's not like they paid a whole lot of gas to come to our house. The guy was in our house less than 3 minutes. I would have been OK to pay $50, but $125 is ridiculous. To top it off, I called politely to ask about the bill and the woman said in a nasty way, ""You're lucky he didn't charge you overtime for coming on a Saturday"". Wow. They have a bad attitude and are rip-off artists too. In several places on their website they talk about ""Free Estimates"". They even seem to boast about it! I was under the impression that coming over and looking at what may need or not be done would be free. I feel lied to and used. I will never do business here again and I will make sure that nobody I know will either.
Jean came out once and was great. Unfortunately, we needed them out again, and they didn't return our calls or emails.
Switched to Belli Plumbing.
