I called 10+ plumbers in the city and Ronan is the most responsive plumber with very reasonable prices. He shows up on time (very rare) and did a great job fixing the kitchen sink clogging as well as replacing an old garbage disposer with a new one. He took off his shoes before entering the apartment and cleans up before leaving. He was also very fun to chat with since he has lived in many countries.

Highly recommend if you live in a high rise building in SOMA.

Wonderful service, excellent work, and a really nice guy. I called Ronan, and within one hour we had scheduled an appointment, met and had the work done. It took him just 20 minutes to fix the busted shower head. He's really terrific and I will call him without hesitation for plumbing work in the future.

Ronan was at my place this morning and I can't recommend him highly enough. I left him a voice mail on Sunday after closing, and assumed I wouldn't hear back until the following week. Instead, he texted me within 20 minutes to say that he would call Monday. True to his word, he called Monday morning and offered to be there in 30 minutes. And he was! He cleared my disgusting clogged drain in less than 30 minutes, cleaned up after himself, and his prices are completely reasonable! Wanna know the best part? He is an absolutely lovely human being on top of it all. Need more like him. Is cloning an option? Thanks, Ronan!

I was in need of a reliable and knowledgeable plumber to work on an apartment building (maintenance/repair) in San Francisco. I saw Ronan recommended many times on the Potrero Hill Next Door web site, so I called. Ronan was wonderful! As promised, he came out quickly to look at the problem, and was able to fix the stopped up bathtub right away. He was very respectful of the property (took his shoes off before entering the apartment and put down floor coverings where he worked) and was very courteous to my tenant, both which I appreciated. He also looked at another small issue with the plumbing, but told me honestly that it was not anything to worry about and that to ""fix"" it would be a big expense (would need to tear out tile, etc.). How refreshing to finally know a plumber who is not only knowledgeable, but honest and fairly priced.

Last year, I had a plumber come out to clean out our outside drains. He broke an access valve, and then proceeded to tell me that it would cost me $650 to repair it (I have since had it repaired for a fraction of the cost). So, after many experiences like that, Ronan was a breath of fresh air, and I will be calling him for all my future plumbing repairs and projects.

Ronan was also such a joy to talk with. We talked about life in general, as well as his kids (he adores them!). What a nice guy! Somehow we got on the topic of earthquakes, etc. and he asked whether I knew where all the water and gas shut off valves were and how they worked. I wasn't sure about the gas shut off valve, so he took the time to look at our meter box and showed me in detail how to shut it off and told me which tools I should have to do that. I was not charged for any of this helpful advice.

I highly recommend Ronan. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest, his prices are reasonable, and he is such a joy to work with (which in my book, rates very high). Life is too short to work with grumpy, harried, stressed out people if you can avoid that. So cheers to you, Ronan, and thank you for a job well done and a great experience!

Ronan came by to check out a leak in our master bathroom. He was on time, super friendly and polite, and extremely knowledgeable. And HONEST - told us that the most likely problem was caulking and we could even do that ourselves to save on costs. He even talked to our neighbors downstairs about their concerns with the leakage, etc. and didn't charge an inspection fee. If I ever have any future plumbing drama, Ronan would definitely be the first person I'd call!
