I got Richard's number as a reference from Crown Plumbing and Hardware. Richard has always been very professional and timely on all the projects he has done for me over the past 16+ years. He has done hot water installs, main water shut-off Installations, water line shut-offs, tub faucet installs, kitchen sink/faucet/drain installs, main sewer line snaking, sink snaking, etc for me. He has really come through on short notice for plumbing emergencies and always done a satisfactory job. I have trusted Richard to enter my own home and rentals while not being there without any problems. He is very easy to communicate with via text. He has also recommended appropriate work when needed (beyond his ability); like needing to send a camera down my main sewer line after continued back-ups and him snaking the line each time. He recommended another plumber he knew with a camera and water jet system, and I never had another back-up. I definitely recommend R. Hale Plumbing, he is a pleasure to do business with.

I will give Richard Hale a minus one star for his ineptness as a plumber. He installed three toilets, for which I paid him, which he got from Crown Plumbing, all three jobs were horrible and each had to be reinstalled at additional cost to me.
Two leaked badly onto the rooms below each, and the third rocked every time someone sat on it. One leaked so badly that around a quarter to a half inch of water surrounded the toilet. I had to pay competent plumbers
to redo the bad work that Hale did. Now I have another problem with his
badly installed toilet, a bolt is loose and the toilet rocks.
Hale also is a very dishonest man. He tried to charge me to install
a dishwasher which I was going to purchase from Home Depot until
a friend told me that installation was free from the store.
Hale's work has been a nightmare for me!

Richard Hale Plumbing has done numerous plumbing jobs on my commercial properties. All projects were completed in a timely, professional and workman like manner, as well as fairly priced. I was completely satisfied.. And recommend him to others.

Please do not use Richard Hale's plumbing. He listened to what I wanted, and then went ahead and did it the cheapest, fastest way. Then he refused to make changes, and caused a headache by allowing his plumbers to do as they please. Very disappointed in his service, quality of work, and ability to make the customer happy. Stay away!
