I started using them about 5yrs ago when my 60 yr old boiler went out. Since I don't have a lot of faith in the newer systems, I really wanted to hold onto it. Many plumbers out there today don't thoroughly understand the older units. But, Patrick came in, and with great expertise and patience (with me & the sysyem) got it up and running. It wasn't cheap (what is these days), but it's been humming along just fine now for 5 yrs.
I've had him in since then for a couple of minor issues and he's always come through. He's capable, punctual and easy to reach.
The reason I'm writing this now is because of his work this morning. Last week I had him in to fix my running toilet and my hot water bathroom faucet,. After he was through, he noticed an almost imperceptible dribble from the stem of the cold water knob. He offered to get a new stem & come back the following week to fix it at no charge.
He was here this morning, as promised. It took him at least 10 trips up & down the stairs to the main water shutoff, in a very hot & stuffy house (no c/a) before it was right. A lot of service people would have given up and blamed it on the age of the house or pipes, especially when there wasn't an additional fee being charged. Not Patrick. He stayed with it until he had it just right. (A tiny grain of sand was the culprit .). He has a puzzle solving kind of mind & a great work ethic. I highly recommend him.
