Company Overview

R Fioretti Plumbing & Heating is a comprehensive plumbing and heating service provider. We are skilled in the service, repair, and replacement of hot water heaters, steam boilers, piping systems, well tanks, water softeners, filters, faucets, tub and shower valves, toilets, garbage disposals, and waste drainage systems. We manage gas line installations for all types of gas appliances, including generators, cooktops, fireplaces, and chimney liners.

A significant part of our work involves custom remodeling and renovation projects. We are experienced in new home builds and light commercial spaces, such as salons and department stores. For these projects, clients or contractors typically hire us to manage all plumbing aspects. We handle full-scale projects, particularly bathroom renovations. Who better to design a bathroom than a seasoned plumber? While we aim to accommodate more of these projects, please keep in mind that we are a small business and may not always handle full renovations. If we cannot take on a job, we will gladly refer you to a reputable contractor we trust.

R. Fioretti Plumbing and Heating was founded in 1981 in West Orange, NJ, by Rick Fioretti. Rick began his plumbing journey after high school, working with his neighbor's father, who owned a small family plumbing business. Rick then worked for a company owned by two brothers for several years. All of these people are still active in the plumbing industry, which speaks to their continued success. In 1981, after receiving his NJ master plumber's license, Rick ventured out on his own and has been successful ever since. More than thirty years and four children later, he relocated to Sparta, NJ, in 1994, while still servicing Morris and Essex counties and branching into Sussex County. In 2017, as two of his three sons joined the family business, we rebranded to R. Fioretti & Sons, continuing our tradition of quality work under a new name.

I (Daniel, the youngest of the three sons) began working for the company in 2003 as a high school junior during the summer. After finishing high school in 2004, I found that I couldn't picture myself doing anything else. Though I had options like becoming a professional athlete, doctor, or lawyer, the rewarding aspects of plumbing hooked me. My brother Michael came on board in 2009. Who knows, maybe one day the oldest brother will trade his engineering degree for a plumbing career. Now that I’m 31, I aim to modernize and expand the business for today’s market. I learned from the best in the field, and so did Michael (who is not my twin). I’m a proud dad to a little girl, and if you hire us, Rick will be more than happy to show you her pictures if he’s around... I promise! I promise a clean, quality job executed properly; we have more than 35 years of proof!
