Company Overview

R Fioretti Plumbing & Heating specializes in complete plumbing and heating services. Our team excels in servicing, repairing, and replacing hot water heaters, hot water and steam boilers, piping systems, well tanks, water softeners and filters, faucets, tub and shower valves, toilets, garbage disposals, and waste drainage systems. We manage gas line installations for all types of gas appliances, including generators, cooktops, fireplaces, and chimney liners.

Much of our work focuses on custom remodels and renovations. We also have experience with new constructions and light commercial projects, including salons and department stores. For these projects, clients or contractors typically hire us to manage all plumbing aspects. We take on comprehensive jobs, especially in bathroom renovations. Who could better layout a bathroom than a skilled plumber? As we strive to take on more of these projects, please remember that we are a small company and may not always be able to manage full renovations. If we are unable to bid on a project, we will happily direct you to a reliable contractor we have worked with.

In 1981, Rick Fioretti established R. Fioretti Plumbing and Heating in West Orange, NJ. Rick began his plumbing journey after high school, working with his neighbor's father, who owned a small family plumbing business. Rick then worked for a company owned by two brothers for several years. All of these individuals remain in the trade today, demonstrating their lasting success. After obtaining his NJ master plumber's license in 1981, Rick started his own business and has been thriving ever since. Over thirty years and four children later, he moved to Sparta, NJ, in 1994, while continuing to serve the Morris and Essex County areas, as well as expanding into Sussex County. In 2017, as two of his three sons joined the family business, we rebranded to R. Fioretti & Sons, continuing our tradition of quality work under a new name.

In 2003, as a junior in high school, I (Daniel, the youngest son) started working for the company during the summer. After graduating in 2004, I realized I couldn't imagine doing anything else. While I could have chosen to be a professional athlete, doctor, or lawyer, the rewarding nature of plumbing drew me in. My brother Michael came on board in 2009. Perhaps one day the oldest brother will swap his engineering degree for a plumbing career. Now that I’m 31, I aim to modernize and expand the business for today’s market. I learned from the best in the field, and so did Michael (who is not my twin). I am a proud father of a little girl, and Rick will happily show you her photos if you hire us and he’s around... I promise! I can assure you of a tidy, quality job completed correctly; we have 35+ years of evidence to back it up!
