I was disappointed with a phone call I made asking if he could install a toilet to replace the one in the bathroom. He said he would first have to diagnose the problem for a non-refundable fee of $48 and then charge $125 an hour on top of that. Furthermore, I had to use the toilet he would purchase for me (I could not pick one up on my own). Most repair people I have hired in the past have applied the initial assessment fee to the price of the job. I was unhappy with his pricing and found another solution for less money.

I had been trying to fix my kitchen sink drain for about a week. After pouring gallons of flesh eating environment destroying Drano down with no avail, I called Rick up on a Sunday. He was reluctant to come out, as he had a date with his wife that night. He coached me through a couple of things that didn't work out, so he hustled out to fix my drain. In about an hour, I was happily washing dishes and he was on his way to show his wife a wonderful evening.

We really are lucky. Years ago we found a really wonderful plumber. Rick Cortez is such a great guy. Christmas Eve 2007, bakery packed with customers and a full staff. Go to the sink and there's no water! I call Rick and he is doing some last minute Christmas shopping. He drops everything and comes right over dressed in non-plumber clothes, ready to work. Luckily for us, it was minor. Highly recommend RC Plumbing.
