I sprung a leak near the main and was grateful the $60 a year HomeServe insurance came in handy. I called HomeServe about 4pm on the day I had a leak and they sent out their partner RB Travis who services my area within 24 hours. I was really happy about the quick response by all companies involved.

Manny & Dalton came out to assess the problem and determined an elbow on my side going into the main was the problem. Manny was the lead on the project and was an excellent communicator, being very clear what the company was covering and not covering. He offered to give a quote to replace the entire line, and I never felt pressured or upsold to change the whole line. We went with just fixing the leak but I may call them back to replace the whole line.

I liked interacting with Manny and Dalton, both were professional and helpful. They both took pride in their work, the concrete patch was NOT sloppy and I was happy with their work.

I called HomeServ when I had sewer line stoppage. The person called from RB Travis was very nice (I dont remember her name) and she gave me the earliest appointment available. Justin was the technician. We have a two-way clean out just outside home and cleared the line after trying two different snake heads. He is an excellent plumber and I recommend RB Travis

A small leak was found percolating up from the yard one Friday morning at my Mom's house. I contacted Home Serve as my Mother has water line insurance and they assigned R.B. Travis to solve the problem and they were out in a good time. While ultimately the problem wasn't covered we were fine with the situation. They recommended that we contract with their ""sister"" company which pinpoints leaks on the property to ensure that they were finding all the leaks on that line. $625. We said ""fine"" since we were told that the entire property (which is quite large) would be mapped. It wasn't. The leak finders came out with a plumber right on time and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more respectful. The leak finders confirmed within less than an hour that the leak was indeed where the leak was and the pipe was coming from point ""A"". So.......no surprises there. The plumber started excavating and gave us a price of $1,525 ""but for YOU I can do it for $1,300"". I figured he would be there for hours so I consulted with my Mom who was paying the bill and while she was shocked by the price she knew it had to be done and gave the go-ahead. I went back to the plumber and he said ""You know I could replace this entire pipe (15') for $4,500 but for YOU I can do it for $3,800"". I knew then we were in trouble but the leak had to be fixed. After the repair and my Mom writing a check for $1,725 for 3 hours of work (including the leak finders) the repair failed. Part of the problem was not of their doing. I called the office late the next day with no reply which was not surprising since it was a Saturday. Next morning, Sunday, I called Home Serve to see if they had a contact and could get someone out to explore. Home Serve was great! The original dispatcher (another tenacious gal......love her!) called me and said they could get someone out between 12 and 3. When I told her about the pricing ""baits"" she was NOT pleased and had someone out there within an hour or so. The guy who came out was, again, delightful, respectful and diagnosed what was going on so we could finish up on our end. No charge. Upshot is that 3 hours total work cost $1,725 (one day) nothing the next day but is ultimately usury. While the staff was pleasant I cannot recommend the company.

I woke up Sunday morning with a blown water heater. Called R.B. Travis Plumbing and spoke with May who was incredibly helpful, she arranged for someone to come out right away.

Manny was here within the hour (on a Sunday!) and did a fantastic job. He was super friendly and explained everything that needed to be updated to ensure we were up to code.

Couldn't be happier with the service and will be working with R.B. Travis in the future for all my plumbing needs. Thanks!

Super Bowl Sunday and we've got a huge clog. I don't even know how to begin to sing the praises of this company. If I could, I'd give them 10 stars! Punctual, polite and even cheerful, hard working and excellent communication were the formula for success at our house. Richy, Mark and Esequiel were stand outs. I will NEVER use any other company again for any plumbing issue. Thorough , professional and reasonable- a really hard combo to fine these days yet R.B.TRavis Plumbing fits the bill!

I don't like to write one star reviews but R.B. Travis Plumbing ownership or management team that is responsible for pricing particular jobs are literally vultures waiting for someone to call and they want to take full advantage of you. I called these guys for a job that required a $35.00 part and they quoted me $500 to install it. Luckily while the plumber and management was haggling with the price, I put a request for a quote on Yelp and was quoted lowest $150 for the same job within minutes. I honestly think used car salespeople are heroes compared to these guys. We are in middle of a pandemic and lot of people don't have the money to be able to afford these guys for a plumbing job because they are 3 times more expensive than a 5 star rated plumbers in the same area. I got 0 issues with the plumber since he said he is not in charge of pricing. Do yourself a favor get a few different quotes before you give these guys a job if you want to save money. I will honestly rate this company below one star if Yelp has that option !

I have used RB Travis a couple of times over the last 2 years for major issues in my apartment. There was a severe leak in my building the HOA used them to resolve a leaky shower that caused water damage in the two lower floors (aka my bathroom). They had to do extensive repairs in the shower stack - and I found them to be efficient and professional. They also did a good job of documenting the work. I appreciated the adherence to the scheduling windows and timeline.

This week I had some additional issues in the kitchen. They were able to complete all of my work in one visit - replacing a disposal and faucet. They also found additionally issues with pipes and the configuration of the dishwasher that they did as well. They also updated the hot water routing to the dishwasher and faucet because they noticed it was a single line.

When I had an additional issue, they came back out to follow up and verify things were installed appropriately and made some additional updates - replacing the air gap and improving the hose routing to prevent future issues. It turns out I also had a dishwasher issue - and the water needed to be shut off to resolve. Since they replaced the P trap, this was easy for appliance repair to do - otherwise it would have impacted the kitchen faucet.

I appreciated the proactive troubleshooting and resolutions. These updates will make it easier for future maintenance and troubleshooting. That attention to detail is what prompted me to share this review!

This is our third visit. Jonathan came out first and cleared our bathroom clog and then he started on the washing machine and kitchen clog. It got late and they called him off for the night. The next day they sent someone else and he cleared the rest of the clog. But I didn't like that he badmouthed Jonathan when he was here. Anyway a few months or so later it's backing up again and tonight Jonathan came out and it was so good to see him again. He thinks he went in far enough to get the clog. I highly recommend Jonathan. Now the office staff I was a bit annoyed with. They called me at 7:15am to discuss my visit today! Really? You wake me up at that hour to tell me they will be there between noon and 3??? Then they call me later in the day to say it will be before 4pm. At 5pm I called and they said someone is still coming. At 6pm Jonathan got here after he finished his last call. Why call me at 7:15am and wake me up for a afternoon call??? At least it looks like it is fixed, at least for now.

So now they don't just NOT show up when they said they would. No apologies either then or in their response.

Now they're taking the gas lighting approach. You did give me an appointment A WEEK OUT. You did cancel it last minute. I don't care how many HOAs you service or how busy you are, poor lil plumbers. You don't show up when you say you will AND now you're calling me a liar when it was you that failed to do what you said you would.

I reiterate, plumbing is a highly competitive industry. You have choices. Using RBT is the worst choice you can make.
