The owner Rob came out to give me a free estimate he was very honest about the installation of a new 50 gallon hot water tank, so accepted his services, the installer John showed up @ 10am and did a excellent job, by 12pm I had hot water, so now these are my go to plumbers, I would definitely recommend them.

Can't say enough good things about R.A. Mechanical! Installed a tankless hot water heater. Went thru Home Advisor and Rob responded immediately. He was very through in explaining the product, the process and his company. The price was competitive and he was able to get the heater installed the next day! Kevin was the installer - great! Very professional, good customer service, answered all the questions and listened, cleaned up and made certain that we were happy with the product. I will definitely hire R.A. I just bought a condo and needed a new water supply line so that I could use the water and ice feature on my fridge and John from R.A. Plumbing & Mechanical was fantastic. He made it to my place in the city within a few hours of my call and fixed the issue in less than 1 hour - which included a run to Home Depot for parts. Great find! Had pretty major leak at my house today. Rob came over in less than an hour (I'm in the city and he's in the suburbs) and fixed the issue. On a Saturday evening! Nice guy, explained issues. Fair price. I have him booked to come over this week again to clean the sewers. Highly recommend!

These guys are outstanding! From the phone call to watching the technician walk out the door after a job well done. We had our water heater start leaking on a Friday night and by Monday afternoon we were back in action taking nice hot showers. They scheduled fast which is what I needed! The quote basically came over the phone and was confirmed with some pictures I texted over. I'm mean how easy is that! The technician who did the install was great too! You rock John! We'd had a water heater that was slowly beginning to fail. After a morning of lukewarm showers, we decided it was time to finally work on getting a new one. I went through Angie's List and got a call from them within a couple hours of filling out the form.

I talked to them on the phone and they walked me through how much they charged, offering a flat rate deal for the heater plus install. He explained where there might be some risk of upcharges in my cases after I sent him a photo of the current installation. I had some pipes that were nearby that might block the water heater from being removed. Overall he was very friendly and forthright about the process.

I scheduled an appointment for the next day and their team got to my place a little earlier than expected. Apparently the commercial plumbing warehouse that they picked up the water heater from had opened early that day. I'd much prefer an early start than a late one!

They came in and checked out the space where my current water heater was, and let me know that they wouldn't need to charge any extra. They got to work, and a couple hours later, I had a new water heater. It was about 3 hours for the work to be completed. I now have nice warm showers again!

The best part though was they fixed a plumbing issue that I'd had which I didn't even ask about. I have a humidifier and the water feed line to it was one of those valves you screw into an existing pipe. I've been told those tend to fail pretty easily, and that I should get that fixed. These guys fixed it without even asking.

So, nice new commercial grade water heater (Bradford White), and a free plumbing upgrade to boot! Not too shabby!

I contacted Rob at R. A. Plumbing to get a quote on the installation and removal of our old hot water heater. Rob was very thorough with the explanation of the work they would perform and the cost. Since I had other quotes who were much higher and R. A. Plumbing was able to give me quick service, I went with them.

The crew arrived on time and they efficiently removed the old hot water heater, installed the new one, installed all new pipes and valves, and they explained what we need to know about the operation of the unit. The cost was exactly as quoted, and they accomplished it all in about an hour. I am very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

Would recommend to use probably any company but this one. I called to set up a time to have an estimate, was referred by Culligan. Rob texted me saying he would be at my location in 20 minutes or so.. I get in my car right away to meet him and an hour later he still is not there so I call him to see what is going on and he told me he got caught up with clients and asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment but since I had sat there for an hour I said no... my mistake I should have. When he got to my location he was extremely aggravated which I understand I was aggravated myself at this point. So he begins talking to me about my situation, the situation I had told him about on the phone being that my water heater is in the ceiling tiles so he grabs a ladder that one of my works I hired left at my place and keeps making remarks about how the ladder is broken and if he would have known he would have brought his truck... like what ? I told him on the phone that it was in the ceiling tiles and so did the man from Culligan but why would you show up to a job without your tools? It is not my job to provide you a ladder ! The best part is they never even sent me the estimate !!! Not that I ever planned on using them after how he acted during my estimate. I highly recommend alek plumbing they are knowledgeable and will be there when they say they will.
