My kitchen sink drain was clogged. I did some checking and found RA Nichols had good reviews. When I called them I told the receptionist that I had a clogged kitchen sink and I needed someone to unclog it. She told me she could have someone there the next day. Great, I will get this thing fixed quickly. A little while before the plumber was to come the receptionist called me back and confirmed that I had a clogged kitchen drain. She told me that the plumber would be there in a little while. Fine.
When the plumber came he confirmed that he was there to unclog my kitchen drain but then he told me that all he could do was put some enzyme down the drain because he didn't have a snake or his mini-jet with him. Well, why the heck did he come to fix the drain without the proper tools to fix it !? This happened on Thursday and he said he would have to come back on Monday with a snake or an air jet, then he charged me $40 just to put some enzymes down the drain, which incidentally did absolutely nothing to help the problem. There is no way on God's green earth I would ever call these people again!

Excellent, excellent and super nice servicing! Our mom just shared top accolades with us on R A Nichols and we feel compelled to make sure it's shared with the public too. She got her furnace and central AC units replaced just yesterday, an all day service affair (wonderful personal interface too)! And even the day before servicing, R A Nichols came and installed a temporary AC unit for her comfort too! Hats off to you folks. And also for your reasonable pricing. Anthony has done a superfluous job in hiring knowledgeable, polite, and genuine technicians. Not only did the come on time, they tried to address the problem as swiftly as possible. Our air conditioning stopped working just prior to the recent heat wave, Anthony offered window units to get us through until a new system could arrive. Dominick knows his A/C and Heating and we had a new furnace and A/C unit put in all in one day. The work everyone did past my husbands (inspector 9000) satisfaction. GREAT job! Thank you!!!!

I needed a new hot water heater, as mine stopped working. I called on a Wednesday, was given a price over the phone and the work was scheduled for Friday between 1:00 and 3:00. Dave arrived at 2:00. The first thing he did was to put down a drop cloth. I really appreciated the care and attention that was given to protect the carpeting. He was very professional, neat, and polite. Although it was explained to me that there might be additional costs if they ran into a problem, the fee was the one quoted over the phone. The area was cleaned up before he left. Dealing with RA Nichols was a very positive experience.

My tenant called R A Nichols because the thought the water heater was leaking, the said the leak was coming from the water heater and charged 2300.00 to install the new water heater, found out later the heater cost 600.00 so the charged me 1700.00 for the install. I would like to say that was the end to it, but they left a leaking pipe in the water heater after the install so my whole floor needed to be replace also. They also tried to charge me 600.00 to repair the leak that they left eventually the waved the 600.00, Left me with the cost of water removal and floor replacement in addition to over charging for the water heater.

This company came to me highly recommended and they did not disappoint. We had a very tough clog that had our toilet out of service for 3 days. Everything we did only fixed the problem for a couple of hours. I called Nichols on Tuesday evening and they got me on the schedule the next morning. They called to make sure I was home so their technicians come to the house and gave me their names. Even though the clog was more trouble than expected but they kept to their stated price because they would not stop till the problem was solved. They did have to return the next day with more equipment and a new plan to solve the problem. David, their technician, kept me abreast of what they were doing and worked until everything was flowing perfectly.

I did take their service plan and got a great discount on the service plus a coupon for even more savings. I can't tell you how I happy I am with the service of the company and how they cleaned up after they finished. I would recommend them to everyone.

I contacted RA Nichols on 11/23/2015 and we scheduled for a back flow test to done on 11/25/2015 at a property I take care of. They did not show up or let me know that they couldn't make it as I only found out the day after when I called to get completion information. We then rescheduled for 11/30/2015 and they did not show up or call and when I requested completion information they got back to me a week later and said they had to reschedule. I reluctantly did for 12/10/2015 and today, 12/11/2015, I called for completion information and after being on hold for 26 minutes a ""Joe"" answered the phone and with zero pleasantries said, ""we're not going to do the job"". When asked why as I have been waiting almost a month for this time sensitive back flow test to come back, he said ""don't have time, not my problem"". I highly suggest not using this company for anything ever for any reason.

Very satisfied with this company. I had a toilet leaking recently and we just couldn't figure it out. I called and two guys showed up the next morning. They didn't have the part I needed so they went to a local supply shop and came back. Price was reasonable. I mean what are ya gonna do. I can't fix it myself.

The guys also wore little booties on my carpets to keep it clean. I thought that was a nice idea. We don't wear shoes on our carpet and I hate asking guys with these elaborate laced up work boots to take their shoes off so I just deal. Booties are a win win.
