A neighbor suggested quick drains, and rave about how James provided great service. I called and explained I wanted the shower cartridge replaced. He told me It's a free estimate. He set me up with a date and a time window (9-11am). I called that morning to get a better time frame he said about 10am. He arrived and along came his son (a minor). Yes, his kid was wearing the company shirt but still, this was not take your kid to work day. He looked at the shower and told me it would cost me $350 + parts + travel fee (Picking up the part and coming back). However, he couldn't remove the set screw as its was stripped and or corroded. He gave me two more options and that was to change the valve which would have been $800, and he would have to cut my drywall and he would not patch but replace with an access panel. The other option would be to cut the handle off which would be a half hour labor at $150 + the $350 and cost of part and travel. Who charges for travel time. I thanked him for his time and sent him on his way. Small business is not always the right business.

James, the owner, is very knowledgeable and honest. Called on a Tuesday mid afternoon and he was there the very next day to inspect the issue. Would recommend to anyone needing a plumber.
