We've had Quartermoon out twice recently. Once for a plumbing leak and once for our heating.

On the plumbing leak, they were punctual, found the leak and did a temporary repair while our insurance company approved removing part of the exterior of the house for a full repair. Great service, a little expensive, but worth it.

On the heating issue, we called them in the morning and asked for a late afternoon appointment. They were booked, but squeezed us in. They were on time and fast, able to resolve in one visit.

This company has an EXCELLENT level of customer service that I had never experienced before. We had a communication issue with our job but it was corrected in the most professional pleasant manner. We had some a/c and plumbing work done at our rental in which the tech was qualified for both... he showed up on time & made the proper repairs. Receptionist is friendly & set appointment the very next day. I would recommend Quarter Moon to anyone that needs plumbing or a/c service.

Most polite and helpful people from my initial phone call. Kevin and Zach were my plumbers. They showed up early. Diagnosed my problem within 5 minutes and completed the job with in the hour. They walked me through everything they were doing. I would definitely use them again. In fact, I took several cards and passed them out to neighbors, family, and friends.

Called Quarter Moon today for a stopped up sink on second floor. They arrived earlier than expected and called first to ensure I was home. They put on booties before entering, very friendly and quick resolution to the problem. Upon leaving they explained what they did and promptly left. Experienced and professional. After reading the reviews of others on these folks, I decided to give them a try to resolve a backed up food disposal/dual bin kitchen sink. Long story short - they were well worth the price: courteous, knowledgeable and very expedient. I would definitely use them again!

Larry and Brian came to our house this week to find, repair and reroute a leak after another plumber wanted to charge thousands just to diagnose the problem! They were clean, efficient, very professional and even joyful in their work! I am incredibly impressed by how good they were. Called for help with a very minor repair to one toilet. My husband was able to give them a detailed description of the problem and what needed to be fixed. The Quarter Moon office is 1/2 mile from our home. They said someone could come between 1-4 pm so we arranged our day to be home by 1. They started calling us at 10:30 wanting to come take care of the repair -- no one was home and wouldn't be until 1 pm. They called 2 more times trying to get earlier access -- appreciate the enthusiasm, but we arranged our day according to the time window they gave us. The plumber came, looked at the toilet, didn't have the part to fix it (even though we had explained exactly what needed repair, and it is a common enough plumbing item) -- went to get the part (to Lowe's maybe??) and returned to complete the repair. While it was repaired to our satisfaction, we got charged extra because of his time to go get/find the part, which really I would expect a plumbing company to have those supplies on their truck, AND we got charged a $6 fuel surcharge, even though we are 1/2 mile from their office. So....I'm still looking for a reliable, local, plumbing company.

I just had these guys over on Friday. My issue was pretty simple, I was replacing hose bibs because they were leaking.

I called Friday morning at 930 to schedule service and they were there by 1050. Billy and Ricky were my plumbers. They were polite and professional. The service was completed within 20 minutes and the cost was half of what two others quoted me.

I was very happy with the promptness and quality of service. I will definitely use Quarter Moon again.

Troy and Rick of the air conditioning & heating division went above and beyond to help me with a problem I had with another a/c company. First, they very thoroughly and honestly evaluated my a/c unit when it wasn't cooling, showed me the problem, and recommended I go back to the company that had done the faulty work. If it weren't for them, I would have been out a new compressor. I will never waste my time again using another company. When it comes to air conditioning, Quarter Moon is the only company I will use and I will always remain loyal to them!

I want to say that a few years ago I hired AAA Auger to fix a water spigot for me and they were reasonable and fast. More recently one of my employees broke one and I called Quarter Moon simply because I have a friend of a friend that works there. I called them at about 10 AM and they did not show up until about 7 PM. I was really upset by this, I expected this done much sooner. So, my luck, this water spigot was some different type of PVC, I think it was called CVC. Well, they did not have the part and the only place to buy the part closed at 5. They closed 7 hours after I called... So, I had to buy my customer a hotel room for the night. The next day they fixed the spigot and told me that my bill was just under $500.00. OMG $500 to fix an outside water spigot? I asked about the charges and they did feel the need to charge me $200 for the time spent on the plumber looking for the right part the night before. Then another $280 for fixing it the next morning. The part was less than $4. The plumber did tell me that the glue for this part requires 45 minutes of dry time. So, I paid the plumber $100 per hour for him to wait 45 minutes for the glue to dry and this started at 11 AM. Really, the guy could not take a lunch break at that time? Well, I am sure he did take a lunch break on my bill... Of course I also paid $100 per hour for him to drive to the store that sold the part he needed. Long story short, $480 to fix an outside plastic water spigot. I will call AAA Auger next time.
