We have used their services on many occasions, to unclog drains, install fixtures and find leaks in two homes. They are fast, efficient, prompt, fair, honest and never pushing unneeded repairs. We had a leak in a newly installed water line (not by Quarter Moon) that was faulty. They quickly isolated the hot water leak in an outside wall, removed two bricks without damaging the wall, replaced the bad fitting and cleaned up in less than 90 minutes. Their expert service crew impressed us every step of the process. We highly recommend them.

On August 4 Quarter Moon broke a water line disconnecting an attic water heater. Was told by supervisor that Quarter Moon would "make things right". They called Blackmon Mooring to dry the damaged walls, ceiling, and floor. They made sure to charge my credit card. They never sent an insurance claims agent to inspect the damage. Then they haggled with the contractor we arranged to make repairs. On September 4 we were told they would cut a check to cover the repairs directly to us (not from their insurance company). Still no check. Now we're being told that they had to do additional paperwork. I guess that was just added from our last conversation. Letters to the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners and the Better Business Bureau being prepared. They were correct, we will "make things right".

After another company's repairman cancelled his appointment twice, I looked up Quarter Moon Plumbing. Within an hour, Michael from Quarter Moon made it out to the property and provided an estimate to repair an overflowing P-trap for a washer drain. When it came time to perform the ~$1200 repair the following workday, Seth from Quarter Moon found a MUCH more affordable solution. Bottom line, even though I was already sold on a ~$1200 fix through Quarter Moon, the company had the integrity to provide me with the most affordable solution (~$900 savings).

Two months later and the washer drain is still working flawlessly.

Most recently, I was convinced that I was experiencing a slab leak and called Quarter Moon to investigate. They had a team out the same day and John was able to assure me that the heat radiating from my floor was only due to the copper hot water pipes and not from a slab leak. Again, Quarter Moon possessed the integrity to sell itself out of an expensive repair.

Throughout both service calls, Quarter Moon employees maintained incredibly professional standards and offered thorough explanations for all their work. Quarter Moon will be the ONLY plumber I call for future service!

We were recently billed for an inspection that happened 8 months ago. The inspector conducted his business with the previous tenants of the home we were looking to purchase instead of us (the buyers), and did not even leave a report or bill. We explicitly told Quarter Moon to contact us so we could be present, and when we contacted them with our concerns, we were told not to worry about the costs.

I called Quarter Moon to explain what I had initially been told, and the manager essentially told me that I had no case because nothing about the issue had been documented. Frustrated, I asked her to connect me with the billing department, and instead she hung up on me.

We received a call from Janet today, who told us that she further inspected our claims and discovered that there was some misunderstanding regarding the inspection that day, and that they would void the bill. Kudos to Janet for going the extra mile to validate my claims and better the situation.

My fiancé and I are super happy that Quarter Moon fixed the issue. However, I do think that this situation could have been avoided from the get-go had the employees communicated more effectively with the inspectors out in the field.

We paid our bill (after not receiving one for quite some time) and the check is showing cleared yet we are still receiving bills from this company. We contacted them and they have definitely cashed the check but aren't showing it paid toward our account. They said they would get back to us. We shouldn't have to keep calling them to make sure the check they CASHED and the money they have been PAID for crappy service in the first place is going towards our bill. Ridiculous. This company is poorly organized and I have now taken the time to demote the 2 star rating, which was bad enough, to a 1 star rating that they still aren't deserving of. BUYER BEWARE.

*Update since yesterday- Quarter Moon has since contacted us and suggested that perhaps they came out twice which is why we are being billed twice. What?? No, QM, you did not come out twice, as my original review reflects. Attempting to squeeze extra money from unhappy customers for a nonexistent job is not helping your business or my review. They said they would call us back and my husband simply asked for the copy of their signed invoice for this (imaginary) job. They said they would look into it and call us back. The Better Business Bureau call is right around the corner so I hope, for their sake, they call us soon. This has become ludicrous.

I had to call Quarter Moon Plumbing to complete a job for On Time Elmer.

On Time Elmer had been paid $30,000 for a job that was to take 10-11 days to complete. FOUR MONTHS later On Time Elmer finally "completed" the job. Within 3 weeks I had sewage spewing out in front of my house where On Time Elmer failed to properly complete the job. I called On TimE Elmer since they supposedly warrant their work, but they couldn't figure out how to fix their own work and left without doing anything.

I called Quarter Moon Plumbing. They knew almost immediately what On Time Elmer had done wrong. I had to pay them $3,000 to do what On Time Elmer should have done.

Unlike On Time Elme, Quarter Moon Plumbing came when they said they would, did not disappear for days and weeks at a time, and worked until the job was completed.

Everyone I spoke with at Quarter Moon Plumbing did exactly what they said they would do and completed the work in the time frame they promised.

Unlike Elmer Zubiate, who never returned even one of my eight messages, I was able to speak with the owner of Quarter Moon Plumbing. Funny, you don't have to hide when you do the right thing.

I highly recommend Quarter Moon Plumbing.

Okay so I discovered a water leak on Saturday l called and left a message to get an appointment for Monday not wanting to pay emergency prices. I got a call by 0800 on Monday morning and was easily scheduled between 11 and 2 pm. Luckily for me they had a cancellation and they arrived by 1000. The workers were Mike and Mike and they even offered to help me carry my groceries in. But at 99.00 dollars per labor hour I politely declined and got the free labor from my husband. My hubby then dug up the pipe and found the leak. They were done in a bit over an hour and the total cost was 141.00 I was so relieved not to get a big bill. Very happy with the service!!
