I sent an email message requesting service and got a call back within 5 minutes. Had to have a gas line moved to accommodate a new range. They scheduled an appointment less than a week from when I spoke to them. Andrew the technician did the job quickly and efficiently. He explained the work he did to me after he was done. Was very informative and I appreciated all the info. I would highly recommend this company. Great customer service!!!.

I had a Navin On Demand water heater that kept shutting off mid shower. It has been in my home for 12 years. I called Navin to see if there was something like a trip switch that I could reset. They told me that if I touch it the warranty would be voided and they sent me a list of licensed Navin repair companies. I called Quarry Hill Plumbing and HVAC company and they said they would come out in the morning and it would be $175 for the house call, which I paid with my credit card.

The technician checked the unit over and said it was my heat exchanger, which they ordered under the 15-year warranty and it would be $2250 to install the new exchanger which would be shipped to them. He said he'd be back in the morning.

I called and talked to the owner and said it seemed like a lot of money. I reminded him that there was no charge for the heating element because parts are covered by the warranty. He said he would call me back, which he did, and he would send a technician that was faster at installations and could knock $700 off the price quoted.

The technician pulled the unit apart and couldn't get a couple of screws out of a part of the unit involving the igniter. He called his boss and Nevin. Nevin agreed to send a completely new unit. So far, the technician had approximately 2 1/2 hours into the job. I was told it would be $3200 to install the new unit, which was basically to put it on the wall and re-rout a gas and water line to run a PVC exhaust pipe into the house for $500. Every time I was given a quote; they wanted half of the payment and there were contracts to sign. At this point having the entire unit on the floor, I was stuck with no hot water with my 95-year-old mother and 3-year-old granddaughter under my wife and my care. I felt like I was bent over a barrel and Quarry Hill knew it so they charged me whatever they wanted and I had to agree. The next day 2 technicians came and were at my home at 8:30 am. They completed the installation, cleaned up and were gone by 12:30 pm.

The workmanship was good but the total price of $3994 was exorbitant! The total manhours spent was approximately 10 1/2 hours. That is $380 per hour! It wasn't a totally new installation; it was just a replacement. I feel violated and taken advantage of. The owners at Quarry Hill seemed to care less. I will not ever call them again knowing how they treat their customers. This unit was under full warranty and yet I had to pay almost $4,000 to replace it? I feel like although the new unit was free from Navin under warranty, I still paid for it. This experience does not sit well with me. Not happy!

Love these guys! Used them for my AC twice and they just serviced my furnace. Price is more than fair and the guys are very professional.

A friend referred me to another plumbing company that I called and then texted at 10am, but 4pm I still had not heard from them. Found Quarry Hills here on Yelp. called at 4pm, next day morning appointment confirmed by 5pm, and the workers showed up earlier than expected. Diagnosed, fixed, showed the broken part causing the headache, and gone within an hour. Still haven't heard from the other plumber. Couldn't be happier.

No need to answer your reply. I put facts and you replied with hate, bullying and anger. Looks like my name is very important to you more then anything else (to put is in capital letters). My house is small for you but big enough for me and my family. We fill it with love and happiness not hate and anger.
I put my facts here and you get the chance to reply. It is up for the people who are reading and see to make the decision they want.

We've used this business twice now to clean and service our a/c heat pump unit. Both times the technicians were prompt, friendly and competent.

After getting ridiculous boiler replacement quotes from plumbers recommended by Angis list I was about to give up and I found these guys. Very happy I did.

Quote was inline with what I was thinking. They were able to schedule the work and get it done quickly. The quality of the work is excellent, they we're able to accommodate putting the boiler where I wanted it to go. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

The good part is they came down on a Sunday night. I had an emergency. I was fixing my toilet and had a leak from a bad water supply valve that wouldn't shut off. I live in a Condo building, and was in no position to shut off the water main myself to assess what to do. I was also in no position to question price. I had called about 5 other places. At least they came down. They hit me up for $500 for about 45 minutes of work to at least stop the leak for the night. After all, the guy said that it was a Sunday night. OK, fine, I get it...I'm paying a premium for Sunday night. He said they'd call me in the morning to set a time to replace the valve and the float mechanism in the toilet tank. The next day a different guy came back to finish the job. Another $400 hit for labor and $40 for parts for 30 minutes of work. So...$940 total bill. Pardon the pun, but I got hosed. Moral of the story..don't fix your toilet on a Sunday night, and if you run into a problem, tell the management company that you found a plumber to fix it, go shut off the water main and try to fix it yourself. The work was good, but don't have an emergency, and whatever you need done....get a firm price from them first!
