John H.Tom and the crew were very professional and efficient. Installed a new Rudd 40 water heater.
Local company also. Thank you.
Kathleen B.We've used this business twice now to clean and service our a/c heat pump unit. Both times the technicians were prompt, friendly and competent.
Our shower was leaking through the ceiling and Quarry Hills was very responsive and quick to schedule. Upon arrival they were professional and honest. Will definitely use their services in the future.
After getting ridiculous boiler replacement quotes from plumbers recommended by Angis list I was about to give up and I found these guys. Very happy I did.
Quote was inline with what I was thinking. They were able to schedule the work and get it done quickly. The quality of the work is excellent, they we're able to accommodate putting the boiler where I wanted it to go. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.
Bob R.The good part is they came down on a Sunday night. I had an emergency. I was fixing my toilet and had a leak from a bad water supply valve that wouldn't shut off. I live in a Condo building, and was in no position to shut off the water main myself to assess what to do. I was also in no position to question price. I had called about 5 other places. At least they came down. They hit me up for $500 for about 45 minutes of work to at least stop the leak for the night. After all, the guy said that it was a Sunday night. OK, fine, I get it...I'm paying a premium for Sunday night. He said they'd call me in the morning to set a time to replace the valve and the float mechanism in the toilet tank. The next day a different guy came back to finish the job. Another $400 hit for labor and $40 for parts for 30 minutes of work. So...$940 total bill. Pardon the pun, but I got hosed. Moral of the story..don't fix your toilet on a Sunday night, and if you run into a problem, tell the management company that you found a plumber to fix it, go shut off the water main and try to fix it yourself. The work was good, but don't have an emergency, and whatever you need done....get a firm price from them first!
Rob D.I'll update if anything changes. Called on a Monday , polite woman set up an appointment for Tuesday, two guys came out Ryan and I don't remember the other name sorry but both were professional and explained each step to me . They were very honest with their answers as I had a few questions about other services , nice to not be lied to and Upsold. Heats back up and running so unless something changes I would highly recommend these guys!
They were also at the front end of the 9-11 time slot which was helpful for me to be able to get to work still.
My wife and I moved into a house this summer. The first time we used the heat we realized there was a problem. We tried a few companies on a Saturday morning and Bill told me he could make it to our house within 2 hours. He was on time and informed us we needed a new furnace, which we were kind of expecting. Bill was at our house early Monday morning with a new furnace and had everything set up by early evening. He helped me put in a new thermostat, explained the work that was done and how to get a rebate for our equipment. I will definitely use them in the future for heating, AC, and plumbing issues.
Kassel N.Extremely helpful and responsive - Michelle and the team went above and beyond to get my A/C fixed in a timely manner, with a fair price and smooth repair. Looking forward to using them for all of my HVAC needs going forward!
Steve K.I needed emergency plumbing repairs on a broken pipe on a Saturday afternoon. I contacted Bill about 4:00 PM after calling numerous other companies who were unable to come out and do the work. Bill said he would be there at 7:00 PM. He came on time and completed needed repairs for a reasonable price.
My A/C broke over the summer and I called several companies (including Quarry Hills Plumbing) to see if they could help.
I called on Saturday and received a few replies from other companies saying they might be able to come on Sunday but only Quarry Hills ""confirmed"" that they could come on Sunday afternoon so I ended up declining several other companies that called me back Sunday morning saying they had a window of availability open up.
Quarry Hills did not come on Sunday, which was pretty upsetting but they said they could come Monday morning. He arrived late Monday, which was also upsetting since I was working around a tight schedule before I had to head to work. Still, he managed to get the work done and as far as I can tell it seems to be good work (time will tell though and I will update should anything come up in the future).
Price was a bit high, but that is expected for last-minute A/C servicing.
4-stars because he could certainly improve his communication/management of customer expectations, but I also understand that he's a busy guy and in the end what matters most to me is getting the work done and done well.
