My main sewer drain to the street backs up every few years and needs to be cleaned out. It's been going on for years, and I have a regular guy who comes and cleans it out for me. When it backed up this morning, I called him and wouldn't you know, he was on vacation. So, I searched online and found Quality Sewer and Drain. They had great reviews and to top it off they are from my home town of Danvers - support your local businesses!!!

I called around 10:15 a.m. and Russ and his apprentice were able to make it around noon. I was very pleased. Their work was really good. They had to clear the whole drain all the way to the main sewer, and then went in with a camera to check it out. Turn out it's not roots as my last guy thought, but a ""belly"". A dip in the pipe that catches stuff and slowly backs up. So now that I know what is actually wrong I can fix it if I want.

Long story short - fast, clean, friendly, and modern equipment. I'd say I've got a new drain guy :-)

Russ from Quality Sewer and Drain was communicative, prompt, professional, effective and the cost was reasonable. I used Google Maps to contact Russ on a Saturday afternoon and was able to book a Monday morning appointment to clear our drain. Russ provided a rough estimate and after doing significantly more work than a normal drain clearing came through with a very fair rate.

We had a clogged drain that ended up being ~60 feet from our house. Russ cleared the roots that were the problem and gave us a set of recommendations for how to deal with it going forward.

I will be recommending Quality Sewer and Drain to everyone I can, as I couldn't be more satisfied with the service Russ provided!

If I could give Quality Sewer more than 5 stars I would. I had an emergency sewer back up at my residence. I thought my main drain line may have been frozen, but it turned out to just be roots. Russell Joe (owner) answered our call for help during the early evening. He was at our house in less than an hour and had us back up and running shortly thereafter. I have used them a total of 3 times (twice emergent) and he as ALWAYS respond promptly.

He takes the time to be clean and to clean up afterwards. He also explains everything.

They are an awesome business and I couldn't recommend anyone else for this type of job

Another great visit from Russell Joe. He came by on short notice, and walked my husband step-by-step through the problem we were dealing with. My husband is meticulous and demanding, and still found Russell to be ""easy to work with"", ""Incredibly nice"" and ""reasonably priced"". I feel like whenever we have any sort of contractors to our home, usually my husband points out where they fell short and what he didn't like about them, but Russ received a five-star review! :) He is the ""only drain guy"" we will ever call again!
