DO NOT TRUST THE SCAMMERS AT QUALITY PLUMBING! We initially paid them $300 to fix a plumbing issue that rendered our toilet and shower unusable, as water would gush out of the base when used. The clog was fixed for about two days before we had to call them out again for the same issue. Again, everything was working fine for a few days until today, when the issue reappeared. We called them again and were told that because they couldn't find the source of the problem, that if they had to come back out again they would charge us a $450 MINIMUM to get to the actual root of the problem. I asked if this service would be prorated based on the amount of money we had already paid them for an issue they didn't fix, and the incredibly rude receptionist said no! I have to wonder why they stole $300 from us before they were willing to properly diagnose the issue at a higher rate. We are now out $300 for an issue that Quality Plumbing never fixed and did not want to make right, and now are stuck without a working toilet or shower! Don't trust this company unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for what I can't even call a half-a** job, because they really didn't do anything for us at all!

Incompetent, dishonest and no integrity. We called Quality Plumber because our regular plumber was not available. Instead of admitting that they left crap behind in the drain they told us our pipe had collapsed and needed $2700 to fix the """"problem """". Don't take our word for it. Talk to other people who have had bad service from them.

Horrible customer service. Never even got back to me with an estimate on a re-pipe and new pea trap in my shower. Thousands of dollars in business they just don't seem interested in. Recipentionsist is just plain rude.

The plumber arrived today to fix a leaky valve behind my refrigerator. It took him 15 minutes to tighten up the valve. He did not replace the valve - this was confirmed by another contractor I had at my home at the time. I wanted him to use the rest of the required minimum 60 minutes/$109?? to look at some slow drainage at my house (plus evaluate my hot water heater for replacement), but he said he had to get payment for his minimum 1 hr first from the insurance company that was paying it - and that time it took to call to get the credit card would be rolled into the service hour - even if he had to wait on the phone or couldn't reach them. He then spent another 15 minutes sitting his truck doing his """"bill collection"""". I called your office about this but they said he had to collect for his 1 hr minimum first. This is an unethical (and devious) business practice. That minimum payment could have been collected by the office when the call was made, with minimal if any further time required by the service tech. I am in business myself and know that no business adds service call charges for the time they take for internal bookkeeping to collect payment. That is business overhead and why you charge so much per hour! This company owes me more service time - minimally a half hour - but I am switching to another plumber.

We bought a house in Gainesville that required a lot of pretty intense work before we could move in. Quality Plumbing re-piped the whole house, ran a new gas line, installed a new tankless gas water heater, and removed the old electric water heaters. Bruce & his team were on the job for several days, ensuring that the work was done quickly but properly; they were efficient, tidy, good-humored, and professional. They obviously cared about not just getting the job done, but getting it done RIGHT. And they did! Highly recommend!

Customers beware- this company was sent out to my house by my home warranty company, meaning I got forced into a bad situation. If you have a choice- go with someone else. Please note that I have called the company twice to complain about the situation below, but each time I was assured someone would be contacting me to 'make the situation right', with zero follow through. I am only pursuing this level of action after being assured by the many other professionals I have worked with since that there is no excuse for a 'qualified plumber to cause this sort of damage'. On May 18th, a plumber was sent to my house to inspect an apparent pipe leak; water was coming out of my baseboard, with no obvious signs anywhere else in the walls or ceilings, so the warranty company thought the most obvious answer was a plumber. (Please note, this initial mistake is NOT something that I attribute to the company). The technician who arrived, Nick, spent a while looking around in my attic before stating that he was pretty certain there were pipes coming down my from my attic in that general location, good news he stated because it meant the leak wasn't coming from the pipes in my foundation. I asked a few follow up questions but every time Nick looked very confused and had trouble answering what I thought should be basic questions for a plumber. After he called the warranty company to update them, they in turn called me to confirm that they would fix the pipe, but I was responsible for a 'drywall cutting fee' this company charged for opening up the wall and finding the source of the leak. I agreed, not knowing there might be other options (this is why we hire professionals, right?), and proceeded to watch Nick cut away near the base board, without finding anything worthwhile, so he started cutting other places. When he eventually found an area where water was clearly dripping down from above, he began cutting higher and higher, each time looking at me uncertainly saying """"I think the pipe is higher, I'm going to cut more, ok?"""" Again I agreed, because I figured there was no other choice, however after he had cut about four feet up my wall with no signs of a pipe, I finally suggested he cut a small access point at the ceiling as even I could tell it was highly unlikely there was a pipe in that area. Lo and behold- nothing. After another few minutes in the attic, he came back down to inform me that upon further inspection there was a leak coming from the roof, and no pipes were in that area. Meaning- I now owed the company $100.... For doing nothing but damaging my wall. At the time I was so frustrated with the mistake, and worried about the roof leak, I didn't think much about the giant gaping holes in my wall, until the next day when a contractor (who had come to help tarp my roof) stared horrified at my wall, stating he had never, in 30 years of work, seen a plumber hack into a wall to that magnitude. He also found additional cracks in the ceiling of an adjacent room (that I have photo evidence were not there previously), that he stated could only have come from someone stepping down carelessly up in the roof area. He reassured me that in his professional opinion I was not out of line to expect restitution for the damages. At this point I called Quality plumbing, issued my complaint, eventually spoke with a supervisor, who assured me he would call back to address the situation. 3 weeks later no response, but I was prompted to follow up again after the StateFarm adjuster came in to assess the damage from the roof leak, happened to walk into the bedroom, took one look at the wall, horrified, and exclaimed """"PLEASE tell me that wasn't done by someone we sent out!"""" I explained the situation and he immediately asked for the name of the company because """"I need to make sure we never hire them, there is absolutely no reason a credible plumbing company would need to cut into the wall like this to find a leak, they should have better equipment. This plumber did more damage than any of your water leaks"""". I called the company again to follow up, was told they would pass my information along to the supervisor... and again nothing. At the end of the day, I recognize the plumbing company was mistakenly sent out by the warranty agent, however it is the opinion of every professional I have spoken with that an experienced plumber should have been able to assess the situation without creating excess damage. It was also painfully obvious this plumber was uncertain in his work and second-guessing himself at every step. If nothing else, I would expect a reputable company to follow through with customer complaints. I have given up hope that they will make the situation right for me, but if I can prevent someone else from being taken for a ride, then I've done my part.

I called quality plumbing due to a concern for a possible clog in my drain line. However after speaking with their service rep she advised that it actually sounded like the problem might be on the city's side. She recommended that i contact the city's public works department as they will come assess for free. She advised that if QP came out i would be looking at a 119.00 charge and they may wind up telling me that i have to call the city any way. I really appreciated this tip. This company could have sent someone out and charged me the fee anyway but didn't. To me this is the ultimate sign of a respectable and professional company. If it is not a problem on the city's end Quality Plumbing will be my next call and they will continue to have my plumbing business in the future.
