I had the most bizarre conversation with Quality Industrial Utah Modeling. Someone from their office, who would not disclose his name, returned my call from last week. It seemed like his entire goal of calling me back was to dissuade me from hiring them for my small remodeling project. He started saying that they are a contracted contractor for the Home Depot, and he'd repeat, ""do you know Home Depot?"" And asked me what I want to do for the remodel. I proceeded to say the project would entail changing out the flooring, some kitchen and bathroom remodel and gave him the square footage of the condo. I asked him what he thought the estimated cost would be. Instead of answering me, he went on and on about needing to get engineers involved, and that all smoke detectors will need to be on a dedicated circuit (which it already is, but all his ranting did not allow me to tell him that). And then he said, ""Good bye!"" and hung up. What just happened? I called him back to get his name, because I'm thinking this person must be a disgruntled employee who is trying to destroy their business. He would not disclose his name, he just said, ""You have some issue with law, you can take it up with the Better Business Bureau"". I am flabbergasted. I hope the owners see this review so that they can address this. The call was made about 10 minutes ago.

On their website and on the description of the business on Yelp, it stated that there's never a fee for an estimate; this guy on the phone said that no body would give an estimate for free. Hmmm....

I'm really impressed! I called Anthony the owner on a Thursday and he came out the next morning to give me a quote on Sheetrock repairs and replacement. His quote was comparable, but what I was not expecting is how fast they could come get it done AND he even went above and beyind and filled some extra nail holes and other things I hadn't even asked! I plan on using his company again for other projects around the house! His prices are really good too.

Arranged for a small job in our yard. After 10pm when I was in bed the night before repair was to start, the company owner began texting me saying they can't invoice me after the work is done, but he wanted to meet me in person to get paid. Texts were a little strange, referencing a rental unit (we don't own one) and ""you k ow up front 58k n front of home"" when he had quoted $150, so I asked him to cancel.

Anthony repaired a deck footer that had subsided and also adjusted the deck gate. His experience is very good -- knows the right processes to do the repairs in a fast and quality manner. I'd highly recommend Anthony for future repairs. His repair saved me hundreds of dollars.
