We have a home warranty, and they assigned QHR to fix our plumbing problem. Unfortunately, we didn't have a choice in who the warranty was assigned to, and we wish we had. We saw their miserable rating and were deeply disappointed that we got stuck with them.
Unfortunately, they never showed up when they were scheduled to...fortunately for us. It allowed us to withdraw from the claim. We're going with someone else...fortunately for us.
1.8 rating. That's not good. There's a reason why. We experienced one.

Completely ripped me off. They installed an atmospheric vent water heater into a direct vent system, and charged me an additional $410 for an outside of the warranty service. They left me with a fire hazard for 6 months. I had to get it fixed by another plumber. They are currently still refusing to refund the $410.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the customers above, Nicole N, Emmanuel C , Al S & Bellabailey E, I can't rate them any LOWER or I would. At first Peter was punctual and to review the problem problems started afterward. Between 1st American Home Warranty and QHR I don't know who is WORST. My wife and I are Seniors over 77 and have now been waiting OVER 30 days to have our Water Heater replaced. QHR says it's 1st American and vise versa. What I can say is QHR's Customer Service is the WORST I have encountered. They have made appoints with my for a two hour range and I had to contact them a good 3 hrs after to find out why they didn't show. Second appoint was as expected, they didn't show again. Very Unprofessional. One BS excuse after another from BOTH 1st American & QHR.

I was assigned to us by First American Home Warranty. I could not reach this company to get the service scheduled. An entire week went by without any returned calls, texts, or emails. Had to call American Home Warranty to be assigned to another company. I'm glad I did after reading some of these reviews. Do not use this company.

Would give zero stars if I could. This company is so unprofessional. Save yourself the headache and wasted time by going with another company

This company was assigned to us by First American Home Warranty. It took weeks to get the water heater replaced. My husband texted the owner I can't even count over and over. Calls after calls to First American as well. Finally they have the water heater they came to replace it and the service tech didn't do something so then there was no hot water. Then QHR sent another person the next day to fix it. Here's the kicker QHR said I need $590.00 from you because these are parts we bought that First AM does not reimburse us for. We said we want the receipt showing $590 they insisted we Venmo the money first and then they would send receipt. Well we were stupid sent the money.. Here it is days later no receipt. We will file a complaint to First Am. We also don't have the receipt for the water heater which we also need form First AM. Terrible experience all around from both company but am glad we got water heater replaced.

I'll NEVER use this company again and strongly advise you to find any other plumber.
This company is totally unreliable, really the worst. They don't come when they say they will, and they don't tell you they're not coming they just don't turn up. I've wasted days of my time and my room-mates' time too. They've done that to us on THREE different jobs, none of which they completed. (They were assigned to us by our home warranty company, who now have in our file that QHR are not to be sent to us again. I think the home warranty work, which of course is cut-rate and poor quality, insulates QHR from needing to be professional.)

Opened a claim for a water heater via home warranty company. Water heater goes out intermittently for hours or days at a time. QHR sent a person out who had no knowledge of water heaters. The representative said he was going to go back to the office to get someone who could help. Neve heard from QHR again and they simply closed the ticket. I have had to reopen the ticket and still no resolution.

QHR was contracted to replace a tankless water heater through First American Home Warranty on 8/10. QHR confirmed appointment to assess on 8/11. they did not show, after I reached out I was told, ""technician was rear ended"". FAHW emailed me after speaking to PetAre Maciel at QHR, the appointment rescheduled for Tuesday (no-show) rescheduled to Wednesday. Technician spent 5 min and said he would return with the parts. After 13 days of FAHW leaving multiple messages, emails (VM shut off). QHR finally provided the information to FAHW to process ordering the unit. (claimed to FAHW delay due to death, told us he was ""dealing with the manufacturer). It took 2 1/2 weeks, continued no contact, more excuses as to why the job couldn't be completed. On Friday 9/8 I confirmed the parts were ordered and available. Pete claimed the ""technician "" had been waiting for 5 hours and the warehouse had ""missed placed it"", I confirmed the purchase order, product order, warehouse location and available with both FAHW and Ferguson (warehouse) and provided all this information to Pete. Then he claimed they picked up the part but it was damaged and would pick up a new one at 3pm. I called back to Ferguson spoke to Marcos whom informed me that QHR had not come to pick up the unit, the PO was still open and the unit was available and not damaged. Our repair has been held hostage as QHR will not release the job and FAHW refuses to provide another contractor (claims no one else available to do the job). It has been 4 1/2 weeks with NO HOT water and a small child in the home. QHR is unreliable, unresponsive, deceptive.
