Straight forward, quality work and very reasonable on price. He identified a leak in a lead liner in the ground, opened up the floor and replaced the piping with pvc. Would use him again if I have another underground plumbing issue.

3 year ago in 2017 we had a pipe under the living room brake and was causing water to back up in the kitchen, laundry room, and air conditioner condensation drain. My house in Lewisville is over 60 years old with black pipe. For the people that don't know "black pipe" or cast iron pipe has a lifespan of about 50 years so we were already on borrowed time. We had several of the big name plumbers out to look at the house and they all told us they could dig up the slab and fix the leak, but that at this point it was just a patch on a failing system and we should consider re-plumbing the whole house. Most of the estimates from the big name company's came in around $30,000 and we would need to be out of the house for about a week. One of the local plumbers I talk to recommended QHR to me. After explaining the situation to Bruce (the head plumber at QHR) on the phone he came out to look at my house and came up with a plan to install a completely new plumbing system (drain pipe/sewer line) to the entire house. He was able to do it so we could stay in the house the whole time and had at least one bathroom working at all times. He came in a little over $12,000 less and his plan did not involve tunneling from one end of my 60 year old foundation to the other. He was also able to install 7 clean-outs in the pipe so I will always be able to access any area of the sewer line. It has been 3 years and I have had absolutely no issues with any of the work he did!. My father just called and asked who we used because he has a slab leak in his house in Plano. As I was digging out the receipt for the phone # I though in this day and age what better way to say THANK YOU 3 years latter for a great job than to leave a 5 stare review. QHR is worth the time to make the call.

I had a slab leak that was causing water leaking from under the foundation to the side of my house into the neighbor's yard. I got a recommendation from another plumber to call Bruce at QHR and said he calls them when he is dealing with leaks. It took a while to get an appointment because they are busy. No marketing just word of mouth.
This is a small shop Bruce and a helper showed up ready to get to work. They provided an estimate and explained that this is an estimate not a bid as slab leaks can be difficult and you can't tell what you will run into.
They did several tests to determine the most probable location of the leak. They jack hammered a hole about 2 feet by 2 feet through the foundation in the bathroom and dug about 3.5 feet deep and then expended the hole under the slab to about 4 feet by 3 feet. The job took 2 days to complete and repair the leak. They replaced about two feet of pipe going through the beam and I could see the pin hole leak in the damaged pipe. At the end of the process they fill in the hole and repair the slab. The only thing I must do now is replace tile in a small area of the bathroom.
These guys are honest, fair, and know their stuff. Bruce has been working on slab leaks for 30 years and has a knack of fitting into small places. With the expertise and hard work they put into fixing this leak, I was very satisfied and my money was well spent.
