One morning the water heater stopped heating. I called some of the larger
plumbing offices and most would could not come out for 3-4 weeks or
referred me to businesses with little to no information on the web. In all
the houses I have owned, the water heater is the one thing I have never had
to replace and I needed guidance.
Asked for a reference from a chain hardware store. In a very shot time,
Gerald Ashley, owner of Purist Plumbing in Grants Pass, called. Gerald laid
out the pros and cons of various systems/brands with no pressure to use
his company. Thanks to Gerald's knowledge and patience, I know I made
the best decision. In addition, their rates are very reasonable.
Christian installed the water heater on the next work day. He was fast,
friendly, a perfectionist, and left the area very clean.
Several weeks later, the State of Oregon asked the City to perform an
inspection of the install. The inspector said everything was done perfectly
down to the green tag in the panel!

We had a water leak curbside by the main valve. It was Friday at 4:45pm of Labor Day weekend and I was making my way down the list of Plumbers on google. THe only person to answer was Christian from Purist Plumbing. He was friendly, calm and super supportive. He said he would call first thing on Tuesday. I was on the phone with him at 7:25am. He was communicative, kind and here working by 8:30am. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have someone who communicated as clearly as he does. He diagnosed the problem, explained it to me and fixed in a total of an hour and a half. At the end of the repair he thanked me for my time! What?! I am blown away by his service and thoroughness.
