I would hire again. Mark came out to look for possible slab leak. In my opinion, he knew what he was doing and approached the problem very methodically. Within an hour he was able to identify the leak which ended up being in my front yard. He told me the general proximity of the leak using a specialized microphone. I opted to dig it up and fix myself to save money.

I am not a customer, but I will never be a customer after my experience this morning!
At 7:30am we noticed a Pure Plumbing Service van parked in front of our house. The plumber? was inside taking a nap! Around 8am, I called the number listed on the side of the van and whoever answered did not identify himself except for saying "plumbing service". I asked if it was normal for a plumber to be sleeping inside his vehicle and I was told that he had a job down the street at 9am. I DID NOT EVEN TELL HIM MY ADDRESS!!!! I was busy getting my son ready for school and when he and my husband left just after 8:30, the van with the sleeping plumber was still there. At this point I was starting to get really creeped out by this guy and I went to find my cell phone to call 311 and report suspicious activity on our street (we have recently had several daytime burglaries of garages). My dog started barking like crazy because the man had gotten out of his van and started to walk down the street. After walking past 3 or 4 houses he get back in his van and drove away...and not to any house on our street!

So word of warning: these people may show up on time, but they are very unprofessional and sketchy! Why in the world would you sleep in front of someones house for over an hour! If you need to sleep, park in a public parking lot!

Mark and his staff were great! The phone was answered promptly and they showed up on time, calling ahead to confirm before arriving. We had to have our faucets serviced and they were both fixed quickly. One started leaking again and Mark came back out almost immediately to find another problem had come up. Thanks for all your help, I will call Pure Plumbing next time I need these services at home.

I have used Pure Plumbing for a couple of issues at my house and both times I thought Mark did a great job! Both times he provided me with a couple of different options to fix the problem based on what I could afford and what had to be done vs. what could wait and be fixed in the future. This is beyond helpful for home owners on a tight budget! Both times Mark was easy to get in touch with, was available immediately and completed the repairs quickly and efficiently. i would give a half star if it was possible.

maybe he is good at fixing water heaters, but i had him redo the plumbing in our old house. Bath tub needed replacing as the drain hole had rusted out beyond repair, new tankless hot water heater and had all new copper underneath the house.

after a couple of months first problem we had we noticed that our tub (new) began to rust around the drain again. it looked as though the tub was dropped on the drain hole (prior to installation) causing a large portion of the ceramic coating to be chipped, thus the rust.

we called mark back and asked him what this could be from...his response was, "that it was the manufacturers fault." after calling the manufacturer, they claim that the tubs are sent via conveyer belt into the truck, then delivered to the store. therefore, they would never have the opportunity to DROP a tub.

basically he installed a tub that either he dropped or the person he bought it from dropped. by this time, all of the tile around the tub had been redone and his response was, to just clean it more often. WOW, thanks for installing a damaged rusting tub.

recently, we had our pier and beam house leveled and noticed that all the copper that he installed underneath our house, was just sitting on the ground nor was it insulated. it was supposed to be tacked up to the underside of the house. paid full price, for half-priced work. Good Luck Mark

Overall, I would recommend hiring this company for plumbing needs.
They were prompt, professional, and very friendly.
The work was completed quickly and proficiently.
I did have to haggle on the bill a bit, but that is to be expected. We received a 15% discount for being a first time customer (they offer 10% off for returning customers), and the owner Mark was very pleasant to deal with on the phone.
I also looked PPS up on the better business bureau. They have been operating since 2009 and have had no complaints at all. Pretty remarkable!
The only advice I might give is to be sure you understand the pricing before you get them over to your house. They expect immediate payment. It's $90.00 an hour with a minimum charge of an hour. There will be a mark up on the parts for labor (standard practice.) There's a $45 service fee no matter what. Write down when they arrive, and when they leave. Plumbers get paid more than most doctors, so don't faint when you get your bill. They're ALL expensive, but very necessary!

Mark is awesome. I'm a contractor and have a handyman business as well. I've used Pure a few times and have recommended him often to my social circle. He has always been solid on my work and the feedback I have gotten. Its rare to find a contractor that is not only skilled but professional. Pure is that. I know I don't have to worry about his work or doing what he says. Awesome.
