These guys are awesome! I couldn't be happier with the work they have done, the way they conducted themselves, and the speed to get it done.....all at what I think are extremely reasonable prices! I would recommend to anyone needing any plumbing services.

I have used them for work at my personal residence for a number of items....unclogging drains, clearing roots out of my mainline, and installing a water softener. They have always been great, however last week they went above and beyond....so far above and beyond it justified my first yelp review!

To fill you in, I had a rental property which was rented to a tenant who completely trashed the place. This condo was a complete disaster.....a site and smell I wouldn't wish on anyone in this world. At the root of the problem was two backed up toilets. To save everyone their lunch, I won't go into detail on how bad they were....just imagine the worst possible situation and then multiply it x 10! I immediately called Purdy plumbing and they had someone out there that day. I showed him how bad the situation was, and he didn't waste a single minute....just charged into action! He had everything up and running in no time. Couldn't believe what a wonderful job they did in such a quick amount of time. However, what surprised me most was how positive the plumber was about the whole situation. All I could think about was how awful this situation was, but he calmly and confidently helped me through it. In fact he even helped me salvage the garbage disposal (tenant had somehow got a quarter rusted in it) which saved me a big chunk of money (vs. buying a new one). Needless to say, I am completely helpful for all that Purdy Plumbing has done for me. Give them a call if you have any plumbing needs!

If you ever have a plumbing issue, just give Purdy Plumbing and Drain a call. Erin, the receptionist was very attentive to my issue and was able to have someone at my property the same day I called. Josh, is the best plumber I have ever worked with. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable but he is able to articulate the problem in a manner I can follow. I am an out of state property owner who was in need of a new sewer line. Not only did he come in and provide an excellent bid, he saved me from a horrible plumber who was trying to rip me off! The job was completed on time, on bid and was done right! I can't say enough about this company!!!!! Do not call any others on here, just call Purdy Plumbing and Drain! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!! THANK YOU JOSH!

Another great experience with Purdy! This time Chris came out very friendly and he did great work for a great price. I highly recommend this company even if you find somewhere else a bit cheaper, they actually take pride in their work and remember you get what you pay for. In my case I received a great price and great work double bonus. Chris is a great addition to the company.

I used these guys before and got good service. So I called them again to look at a slow drain. The technician was Josh and he zeroed in on the problem pretty quickly. He explained the repair that it needed and gave me an estimate. When I explained that we may be remodeling the bathroom, he recommended we just wait and do the repair later during the remodel because it will easier and less costly. Thanks for being honest and not pressuring me to fix it now. Good service gets a good review from me.

Ryan saves the day... I had a clog in my main line in the front. I dug it up to find a crack in the clay pipe. I had a lot of other projects going on in my complete home remodel, so this was the last thing I wanted to tackle right now. Saw Purdy on Yelp and thought I'd give them a shot. Job was quoted by one of their new guys on a sewer main. Showed the guy what I found and said I wanted 4 feet replaced. He quoted an amount and said if more than 4 feet needed replacement the price would go up. It turns out I did half the digging for him and he was done quickly. I asked if he could put a camera down and he said make an appointment and pay 4 times more than I paid another plumber to do this. I said I paid for 4 feet to be replaced and he did less than half of that, at least I should get a discount. He was rude and patronizing. He did say since I had a problem he'd call his boss. His boss, Ryan, came over and finished the job. Ryan sent the new guy home and halved my price and put a camera to investigate. He went way above and beyond, so I feel obliged to give a five star review. Thank you Ryan!

- Issue: Drain Clearing & Garbage Disposal replacement.
- Expected turn time: Was expecting 2-3 day turn time.

Today 06/23/15 I ended up calling seven of the highest
rated (5 star) companies from yelp* & here are my findings:

(1) Never called me back.
(3) Approx. costs & labor quoted was over $500.00.
(1) Evenly priced, could not complete job until: 06/25/15.
(1) Called me back at the end of the day? Day was over
(1) The company I chose: Purdy Plumbing and Drain.

Here's why:
I called Purdy Plumbing and Drain, spoke to Erin who got Josh out to my house right away to give me an estimate. Josh did not try to up-sell me at all, he told me exactly what was wrong (discounted the price), I thanked him for his time but I did not feel confident in my decision until I had the chance to call the other (6) companies I selected & compare costs & service.

I called one company that never bothered to call me back, three other companies told me the quote I received was an amazing price and they (in their own words) could not match it. I called Erin back, she set up the appointment on the same day the estimate was done and sent Josh back out. The average turn time from the other companies I talked to was around three days. One company called me back at the end of the day (5:00 pm) after Josh had already been to my house twice, completed the job (took around 1 hour) and was already on his way to his next appointment, the guy is amazing!

Earned a customer for life!!

originally called them based on their stellar reviews and have to agree with everyone else. we have had some main line problems recently that will require some follow up service to install a clean-out, but in the meantime we were getting by on having the main line snaked every month or so. The first few times Chris came out, he was great. This past Saturday night things backed up again and we were frantic to get some help because we had a birthday party the next morning and dozens of people coming to our house. Called Purdy, left a message late Saturday night thinking we probably wouldnt get a call back because of the day/time. We called a few other places and one company agreed to come out for what we thought was an insanely high price but we were in a jam and thought we had no other choice. Ryan called us back a few mins later (late Saturday night) and said he would be there in the morning to take care of the problem. As promised, he came, took care of the problem, and the party went on as scheduled later that day. On top of the great service provided, Ryan charged 1/6 of the price quoted by the other company. A standup guy, standup hardworking company. No reason to ever call another plumber ever. Is 5 stars the most i can give??!!

Called them out to unclog a toilet and was very happy with the service.

First off, they answered the phone right away...usually a good sign. They then set an appointment after we described the problem and quoted an estimate.

The technician showed up right on time, donned protective covers for his shoes and examined the problem. He then went to his truck, retrieved the necessary equipment and the clog was removed in minutes.

He was polite, well dressed, and the final invoice was exactly what the estimate was.

Very professional at every stage of the transaction. Would definitely recommend to others.
