I recently had George from Pumphrey Plumbing in Hyannis install a power vent water heater.
Being new to the cape it was a challenge deciding on who to use, regarding price, quality of install, experience, etc. I'm really happy to have worked with George. His pricing was fair, seemed to have been in business a long time, was responsive to my questions and really just seemed to be a nice person, which was evident through our interactions. You really don't get to know how professional and responsive someone will be until there is a problem requiring that high level of professionalism and attentiveness. After completion of the job there was a small leak and even though it was late in the day George drove about 30 minutes back to my house the same day to fix the leak. George works for himself and cares about doing the right thing and doing it right. When looking for a plumber I had one
company respond that was considerably more expensive, another called back days later, another came out to see the job but never sent a quote and another said he'd send a quote but never did.
It will be a great experience with George. Very happy to have found him

Job was novel: installing new tech, in-line leak detector. George was responsive, thoughtful, and careful in scoping the job and understanding what was involved. He followed up to confirm appointment, showed up on time, and did the job professionally and at reasonable cost. Can't ask for anything more.
