Meridith came out with 2 crews. A 3rd showed up shortly after. We needed service for a septic system that hadn't been used in 3+ years. And by the condition the previous owners left the house in, I was positive they trashed the system. Meridith & her crew had the system up & running that same afternoon. They even had all the parts they needed with them. Everyone of them was kind & professional. We were so happy to find such a great family owned business.

This review is long overdue. I am extremely demanding of my service providers/ vendors and endeavor to provide feedback, both positive and negative, to help them improve their level of service. When researching a ranch to buy in San Jacinto County, I needed to get the septic system inspected during due diligence. I identified five (5) highly reputable firms in East Texas. One of these vendors was Pumpco Septic Solutions, owned by Lester and Shirley Burnett. I called their number on a Sunday and their Office Manager answered. Lester and Shirley were in fact working that day and could meet me at the ranch between 3:00-5:00 p.m. I said that would be fine but I could not be there beyond 5:00 p.m. Lester and Shirley were delayed beyond 5:00 p.m. They called me as I was on my way back to Houston, apologized profusely, and said they would do the inspection FREE, no strings attached, in an effort to make me happy, someone they had never met, and to preserve their excellent reputation in East Texas.

They did just that. They provided me a timely, important report that assisted me in contract negotiations, at no cost.

I cannot tell you how impressed I was by this gesture. Rarely, in today's day and age do you find personal and professional pride from service providers. Perhaps that is the hallmark of family owned "old-school" businesses. They still exist. It was refreshing to see. Keep up the great work Lester and Shirley.

These guys are down right crooks. The charged us $3,000 to replace an aerator and flow pump. When our property manager checked it, the aerator was the same one...didn't change it. And they replaced the flow pump was a used one which they charged $1250 for and $750 to install it. Check the photos...do those look used to you?! We're suing them right now. When I mentioned this issue, owner told me to shove it up my arse.

These people are crooks. They overcharged me for my system and then refused to come out and fix the problems without charging. I had sewage spewing out of my sprinklers. They didn't care. When I sent a registered letter to complain they never picked it up at the post office. Makes you wonder how many other people they have ripped off.

AVOID THIS COMPANY, - I would not recommend or use these company's services to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. They are misleading, deceitful and a bunch of con-artist. I found this company thru Home advisors. I should known, that was a huge mistake . I called several companies to get quotes and see if they could meet my schedule. Not much luck on that part, so I settled for PumpCo Septics Solutions located at 297 85 CR 3794A, Cleveland, Tx 77328. I called them up for a quote to drain my septic system and they said they would match a competitors price and meet my schedule. The only reason why I didn't take the other company's business was because they where book and their schedule was full for the next few days. That was my 2nd mistake. I should've waited the extra two days. (It's ok, I learn form my mistakes, I'll wait next time)
Anyways, when PumpCo Septic Solutions, arrived they seemed at first very courteous at first. Well I should've seen the teeth behind the grin. They arrived they began with trying to fast talk me into a one year service contract ($375.00) and to tell me how the county required by law to have a service contractor on file, and to intimidate me with their scare tactics (Mistake - Being Deceitful with their customer) as if I would have to get their maintenance contract. Then they began to tell me what was wrong with "everything in my system, (even though, my system was only 2 years old) the aerator was broken and needed to be replaced ($800.00) even though I still had an extended warranty on it for two more years, yet they couldn't repair it but they sure could replace it. My pump was probably going to burn out soon if it wasn't replaced. Wow, my tanks where over used , and almost pouring out, luckily I called them. ($150.00) to have it cleaned, which consisted of them pulling it out and simply rinsing it with a water hose. (2nd mistake - deceptive business practices.) Then after all that was said and done they began to tell me that my quote was ONLY for a specific gallon amount, and that I agreed upon it. which I then told them that when I spoke with the lady in the office, she at no time informed me that would be a specific "allotted gallon amount" added to the quote.

By the time they where thru the bill went from $500.00 to $1,875.00.

When I told them I was not interested in all the bells & whistles, and only wanted the tanks drained as agreed, they couldn't leave fast enough, they where packing and locking up everything as if they where a bunch of highway robbers.

Then to top it all off they required me to pay for the services immediately, I was told I would be billed, I had no other choice but to pay them right their and now....

They they handed me a form to fill out that would also charge me an additional 5% ( $93.75) on top of the cost of their services for paying with your debit card. They then wanted to process the transaction right their and now as if I was trying to cheat them out of paying for the bill.

I was appalled that I was treated in such a manner, I am a US Military Veteran, I am not a criminal, my credit is impeccable, I don't hide from my financial obligations. I am not the crook as they made me out to be in their eyes.

I was disgusted with their behavior, business tactics and overall attitude. They made me fell not only uncomfortable but also embarrassed in front of their staff. I was not please at all with their action.

WOW!!!. Isn't that a loud of $&^$*&%. pardon my French.

So just a word of caution people out their. This company is not out to be your friend and the testimonials listed on their site are probably staged testimonials. I see NO negative comments or reviews, NOT ONE, do you believe that, NOT ONE!!!!

So save yourself from these highway robber and use someone else. more trustworthy.......

These people are great. They came the same day. Inspected the whole system at no charge. They did more than they had to or for what I expected. One visit and they have a lifelong customer. No need to look for any others. This is who you want. Really good people.
