We have used Pullman Plumbing since 1990 and we have never had an issue with their service or their pricing. Today (12/17/19), they installed my new gas range which required some modifications to my existing gas line. The price they quoted was the price we paid. They were very NEAT and professional. Good to know information is that they are licensed and insured in both PA and DE. If you need a plumbing, drain, cleaning, etc., look no further than Pullman Plumbing.

The plastic center pipe in the toilet tank of our half bath. We bought a replacement kit but because of the tight space, my husband did not feel comfortable doing the job himself without someone else to help (lift the tank while he gets under it, etc.) so we called Pullman to come by and do the job for us. We chose Pullman because they advertised in the back of our parish's weekly program.

Steve from Pullman arrived promptly and after a cursory look at the toilet, told us that the work could not be done with the replacement kit and we were better off replacing the whole toilet, which of course, could be purchased through them. They wouldn't be able to guarantee the work if we bought it elsewhere. The rough swag would have been at least $600+ but we could save a little if we opted into their annual service plan at an additional $231 a year.

We had reviewed YouTube videos for this repair before calling Pullman and it was something that seemed completely repairable. When challenged on what was actually needed for just a repair, Steve then said he could do it but only with their replacement parts and again, they could guarantee nothing & that it may still leak. Funny because their website says, ""All work guaranteed."" The estimate to repair was nearly $500.

We told him to forget it.and had to pay $50 for the ""diagnostic"" charge. My husband called a friend to come by and they had it fixed in twenty minutes - it was even easier than he thought it was going to be. Since then, there have been no leaks nor water running.

We felt so totally ripped off by Pullman. WE had to pay THEM $50 for what was essentially a sales pitch for their toilet installation and their service plan when all we needed was a simple plumbing repair.

Would highly recommend using a different plumbing service. This one basically swindles you.
