I hate to give a poor review to an entire business because of one employee, but I tried to reach out to the owner and got no response to my concerns, so I guess it's a company problem. We had Pulliam Plumbing out because we kept smelling gas in our backyard. My husband took them around through the fence to our side/backyard to check the area.

The two plumbers found some small leaks right away in our side yard, but the guy just WALKED RIGHT INTO MY HOUSE WITHOUT KNOCKING (through the back door) to tell us this. Not just opened the door, but walked straight into my living room until I yelled for my husband. Very concerning, especially since they hadn't been walked through the house in the first place. I was nursing my baby at the table and had I been alone in the house, it would have been a *very* concerning thing to just have a man walk in unannounced.

My husband went out and looked, confirmed the leaks, and approved the repair... then came in and locked the door behind him. When the plumber was done 30 min later, he tried to just enter our house through back door again, only knocking when he realized he couldn't just barge in.

Once is a mistake, twice is intentional. I emailed the owner, Glen, to let him know how uncomfortable that made me and that he needed to let his guys know that just entering people's homes isn't okay (especially when you aren't working in the house at all), but he never bothered responding.

For that reason alone, I won't hire them again. Which is sad because they seemed to do great work otherwise -- but as a woman, I can't have men just barging into my house through random doors without even knocking.

I recently had an experience with Pulliam Plumbing Services LLC. They came to fix a leaking kitchen faucet, replacing the cartridge in less than 5 minutes but charged us $427.50 for labor and travel to the supply store. When we asked for a receipt and the old cartridge, he claimed he had discarded both. We later discovered the cartridge costs $68.80 at the supply store where he bought is, yet we were charged $98.99 for it, in addition to labor and travel fees. They also installed a small water conditioner, a task that took less than 20 minutes, for which we were billed $125, equating to $375 per hour! This level of overcharging is dishonest and unreasonable. I'm sharing this to warn others.

Pulliam was able to come out quickly. They gave me a window, and updates throughout the morning so I could meet them at the house vs waiting around all day. They were there to fix an outdoor faucet and to my surprise, they also brought an irrigation specialist who was able to fix some heads on my sprinkler system. Bonus! I also appreciated learning tips on how to avoid the faucet problem in the future. Highly recommend.

An electronic part on my water heater went out. I called Pulliam. They were able to fit me into the schedule the same day! The technician and his apprentice were polite, friendly, and helpful. They were able to diagnose the problem within minutes of arriving. They went to the store, got the part, and replaced it within hours. It is a family owned, Army Veteran operated business. I highly recommend this plumbing company!

Never called back the second time, I was going to give them another shot. The last time I used them the plumber spent most of his belittling his helper-over priced. Grandpa Plumbing in Spring Branch was very responsive and priced well. Won't be back

Pulliam Plumbing responded promptly to our plumbing emergency. They expertly removed the over sized malfunctioning water heater from the garage closet, then carefully and precisely installed a new 50 gallon Rheem water heater. We our very satisfied with the performance of the new water heater and the care they took in cleaning up afterwards. Also, this is a Veteran owned business! Highly Recommended!

During the Feb. 2021 storm Pulliam Actually responded to my call when 5 other plumbers I called did not. Super communicative and friendly. They came out as soon as they could on the day they had promised. It was late but Glen still came and repaired my water leak easily. Glen Pulliam deserves 6 stars.
I highly recommend Pulliam plumbing. Good work, honest, friendly, and working to help as many as they can with the freeze damage. Thank you sooooo much.
