Recommended Customer Reviews

We had very similar experiences to the other reviewers who gave Joey 1 star. He did not finish the job and never gave us the warranty paperwork. When we called him about this he and his assistant gave us the runaround- He never showed up when he said he would and now we can't get ahold of him at all. The voice mailbox is full. We will be filing a complaint and I will continue to warn consumers about his shoddy work. I will go back and update my reviews if Joey makes it right.

Joey came out to install a dishwasher. Installed it incorrectly, drilled into our hardwood floor (not necessary), called to say he was on his way multiple times (never made it), etc., etc. Long story short, I had to spend hours with my father-in-law fixing Joey's botched job. Oh, and he threw away a needed part. Never got that back.

No call, no show. What is it with service based companies? In the day and age of being able to bark a command at your phone and have it respond and take action, this behavior is unacceptable. A call, a text, a pulse? Step it up Pulliam, 2 one star reviews is not a good start to your reviews on yelp.

At first he seems like a nice guy but ultimately the quality of work and reliability is very bad. I do not recommend.

After 4 visits I still don't have a heater that works. For almost every visit he wouldn't show until after 9pm to do any work and then would leave in a hurry. In addition to not fixing the heater, he left the unit running without a filter, left the unit so that the only way to turn it off was at the breaker, and tracked mud through the apartment. After scheduling yet again to get it fixed he missed the 12-2pm window and then said he'd be between 9-10pm. Then, after saying he was on the way at 10:40pm, he never showed and stopped responding. He's a nice guy but not reliable or thorough.

In September 2017, Joey came out to put a new motor on my HVAC compressor. He said it was 1/4 horsepower, but I later discovered it was a cheaper 1/5 hsp model. Charged me $529. The under-powered motor burned out after just 18 months, and I had to have another (more honest) HVAC repairman out to put in the actual 1/4 hsp motor that I needed. My attempts to reach Joey to have him make good on his parts & labor warranty have not been returned. I would not recommend calling Joey, and if you do, inspect his work CLOSELY.

Never on time. Lot's of empty promises. Gas bill went sky high after """"work done"""" so I called them in to check what the problem was. Gas company confirmed that the work done was extremely poor and in fact said that the current situation is dangerous. Furnace had to be turned off while it's freezing outside. Joey stole my money and won't respond. Thankfully we have a court system I'm going to drag him through to get my money back. WARNING - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!

Joey has been out to our home several times when we have had issues arise and has promptly resolved our problems. We have an old 1920s home with major appliances that are """"at life expectancy"""" according to our inspection. We have expressed to Joey that we need to try everything we can to make them run as long as possible due to the costs of replacement. He has gotten our A/C working after being broken in the dead of summer 3 times now. We tried to install a new thermostat and didn't understand how to rewire the new one. He came quickly and got us back up and running.
