I was referred to Puleo because I needed a bathroom faucet replaced. Scott was very responsive and offered to come by same or next day. Neither worked for my schedule, but we were able to schedule a time early this week. Tyler was very professional and installed my faucet perfectly. Will definitely contact them again when I need more plumbing work!

Woke up to a busted water heater. They were at my home in 10 minutes & diagnosed the problem quickly. Water heater replaced under warranty with 4 years left on the new one. Extremely professional & cleaned up water. A pleasure to deal with. Great guys.

This is my first time using Puleo and they came over gave me an estimate. Scheduled a date. Had to adjust the date by a day. No problem. Their communication was excellent. Their knowledge was excellent. Price was very fair. On top of all that they fixed a complex shower problem and it now works great! Thank you!

My husband and I had this business come replace a copper pipe beneath our sink that had a crack in it. They were very good about responding to our request and the plumber they sent, Blake showed up on time on the day he was supposed to come. He was professional, courteous and while maybe not a quick worker, definitely not slow.

The work performed was very good in that the replacement pipe is sound and our issue has been remedied.

There was, however, multiple discrepancies on the bill. The work took longer than agreed and his time on the bill was incorrect. He added time on the beginning (got here at 8:25am and wrote he got here at 8:00am). The bill left on my counter had no breakdown of an hourly rate nor any cost breakdown for materials; it simply had a price at the bottom. It took him 4 hours to cut a pipe then replace it with PVC. I was surprised by this, considering he didn't have to do any work to get to the pipe (beyond moving the dishwasher which was not even connected to the counter or cabinetry save a toe kick).

I called the service manager, Josh and relayed my concerns. He was open to a dialogue.

The owner of the company, Scott Puleo was sympathetic to my concerns as well and actually stopped by my house (unannounced). If I were to be honest, I don't think he was happy to have to do it, but he did do it and I think that says a lot about what this business is. In addition to his stopping by, we agreed on a final number that was much friendlier than the original.

I'm not certain that I would use them again because of the issues but if I do, I will certainly update this review.

I called Puleo's at 10:30 am for a leaking hot water system, and our problem was fixed, including replacing 2 significant parts, by 11:40. And the price was reasonable. Terrific!

In the spring, I contacted Puleo Plumbing and Heating to get an estimate on how much it would cost to service our existing boiler. When I spoke to Josh on the phone, he provided me with a great quote (less than any other plumber I called), but he also asked me if I had heard of the Early Boiler Replacement Rebate from MassSave/National Grid. Thanks to his suggestion, we scheduled a home energy audit to see if our boiler qualified. My wife and I debated for a few months about whether we really wanted to replace our 33 year old boiler. Josh checked in with me several times, but not in a pushy way.

When we decided to move forward with the project, Scott and Josh were able to fit us into their busy schedule within the week. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the finished product. They really did a superb job removing our old boiler and hot water heater and meticulously installing our new high efficiency boiler and indirect water heater. When they came by to inspect the work, they noticed some spots on the basement floor they left while working. They contacted me immediately to let me know that they would be by the next day to clean it up. Our boiler looks and runs great. In fact, when I showed the unit to my brother-in-law who works as a superintendent for a contractor, he was very impressed with the work, especially the quality of the materials and the craftmanship.

I highly recommend Puleo Plumbing and Heating without any reservations as an excellent plumbing company.

We have used Puleo twice in the last two years and both times were great experiences.

We got a fast call back - not very common, in my experience. After that they had a truck to our house pretty soon.

The plumber who came to the house was very professional and great about explaining the problem and his proposed solution. I know NOTHING about plumbing and having someone who was not condescending and helpful was great.

Soon after, his boss called me with an estimated price that was very well explained and, in my opinion very fair. The actual billed price was actually on the low side of the estimate!

The work was quick and well done, as far as I can see. The plumber who did the work was very careful to clean up after. It truly looked like no one was ever here.

It is great to have a reliable, professional company to rely upon when you need them.

Puleo was a great help to me and I hope you give them a look too.
