Showed up next day, exactly when the person who called me indicated he would. Fixed both minor repairs in very little time and charged me half of what was quoted by another company (a company that was also 2 hours late to their appt with me). Great job!

Called to fix a clogged tub drain. I was told I need to replace parts and they would need to cut through the outside wall. Called a different plumber for a second opinion. He was there 10 minutes and fixed the clog. No extra parts or extra work, simply cleared the drain.

We had a leak from a pipe under our pier and beam house. We learned about it because our water bill went up $30 in one month and after calling the water dept. to check they said there was a leak of a gallon every 8 minutes on our property. We could hear water flowing only after we opened up the crawl space and stuck our head down into the space. We called several companies on a Friday that were recommended but Public Service Plumbers agreed to send someone out that day and early enough so they would have time to fix any problem before the end of the day. Took about 2 1/2 hours for 2 guys for $500. Josh was the plumber and both men were polite, clean, took pictures of the problem, and guaranteed their work.

Boyd came out, worked professionally through my tankless heater issue and fixed the problem. Went on lunch while glue had to dry, not to bill me time to wait around. Very happy with his work.

Extremely pleased with service provided. Boyd was third plumber to check on my tankless water heater and the first to finally figure out what the problem and solution needed. He also fixed a leaky faucet, first rate service. I highly recommend Public Service Plumbers

Troy came out and cleaned out our drain line, provided helpful advice and recommendations. Very friendly and professional.

Very overpriced took too many guys to do one thing, unprofessional and rude. Don't recommend using guys.

i called Public Service Plumbers for an emergency hot water heater replacement. They were able to get someone out right away, assess the situation, stop the leaking and had a new system installed by that evening. the guys they sent over were very nice. my wife was comfortable being home alone with them. they cleaned up their mess when they left. It is nice to know there is someone to call when i am out of town and need some plumbing repairs done! i called 2 other companies after the the job was done to check the price. they were right in line with one and cheaper than the other. i looked up the hot water tank they installed and it is a very high quality unit.

Update 4/16 received a call from the office manager. Receptionist was new and training will be addressed. Manager told same thing a second plumber did, that draining and flushing the heater that old (10 years) may actually cause more problems and may worth the cost involved. Plumber will be coached. Manager credit us the cost of the visit. Thank you Aline.
They lost a customer today. Called to have a plumber come out because the water heater was making clunking/knocking sounds. Based on what i read on websites the heater needed to be flushed and drained. Told the receptionist who set up the appointment that it probably needed to be flushed. (heater still heated the water well, able to long hot showers etc... just made knocking noises). When the plumber got here, he said that heaters don't need to be flushed drained anymore, he checked to make sure water heater still worked (i already knew it did) and looked at one other issue we had and charged us $98 for the 30 min visit. If i had been told up front that they don't drain/flush water heaters anymore, i would not have had them come out (by the way, the manual for my Whirlpool water heater says it IS supposed to be drained/flushed every 6 months). I don't appreciate being lied to and i don't appreciate having to spend the time and money to hire someone else to do what this guy should have done.

They came out to install a drain for my bathroom sink. It took 45 minutes and cost me $185 ($45 in parts). What I didn't like is how they nickle and dime their customers.
$2.00 for putty, $3.00 for a washer, and $3.50 for a towel. Are you serious you charged for a towel to clean up after your mess???
