Service completed one year ago and the leaking came back. Called Mike and the phone was answered the first time. Promised that he would called me back when he returned to the office but never did. The calls were then never answered. Very disappointed.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!
I called them for an estimate on changing a gasket in my bathroom. I was told that they charge $165 to come out and that will be for one guy and half hr. Its it takes longer than that, they need 2 guys and it will be around $400. Are you kidding me?
I called another plumber and he came our, fixed the gasket and did other work, was there for about 4 hrs and the charged me $195. Of course I gave him a little extra as I felt bad he did so much work. This guy is licensed and bond. I will be happy to refer him to anybody.
Public Plumbing blows!!!

Now looking at these two other reviews, I feel I should comment because after all the total experience is what matters. I called for an elderly neighbor who needed a new toilet. We purchased a toilet at home depot, then got what seemed like a reasonable quote from them. I was not able to be there, but got a call from them saying that the toilet was installed but that the flow going into the bowl was very low definitely sub par. They offered to take this new toilet out and replace it with one from their warehouse the next day. Hmm I thought, ( I was feeling pressured to decide for this elderly lady, and time is money as he kept repeating) so I decided no and asked them to take the brand new toilet out, and that we'd return it to Home Depot and start again. I got a call 15 minutes later saying problem was resolved that there was a rag stuck inside the brand new toilet. Hmm...
What do you folks think? Scam or honest mistake?
Wouldn't a seasoned plumber check inside the bowl before installing, or the Home Depot return people check before restocking it. that's IF the toilet had been previously purchased unbeknownst to us?
Too many if, buts, or maybes I think.
Just keep all your senses alert, if you still choose to use them.
Price was competitive, I'll say that.

SHADY! SHADY! SHADY! This company reported me to a credit agency for work they supposedly did at an investment property of mine ten years prior. When asked why I had not received a call, email, letter, or fax in the previous ten years, the owner, Joe responded...""our bookkeeping hasn't been that great, but we're following up on stuff now."" I have invoices paid in full from another plumbing company for the same work Public Plumbing claims to have done, the same month back in 2001. When I asked him why I would have had the same work replicated the following month for $2,500 by another company, they said ""I don't know."" BEWARE, if you have them come out and give you an estimate for work, they may report you to a credit agency 10 years later for not paying them on work they were never actually hired to do and did not do!

This company is awful. I just payed 265$ to have my drain snaked. They charged me 90$ to show up and another 160 in labor for 30 min of work. I wasn't aware they were they were curing cancer. They did clean up so they billed me for an hour. The business is less than a mile from my house(Why not charge 90$ for the 3min trip over) Lets send two guys for a job that only takes one. (Doesn't double billing pay better than single billing"":) I wonder how people sleep at night???

TAKE MY WORD AND DON""T USE THIS COMPANY

I WISH I COULD RATE ZERO STARS BUT THEY WON""T LET ME
