Have used this company exclusively to clear drain pipes and pump the septic tank with no complaint - we have lived in our house for over 35 years.

Around Thankgiving last year an inspection of our 50+ year old redwood septic tank finally showed signs of failure sooner than later. We got a bid from PSTS and Tom's. We went with PSTS and have no regrets.

They were at all times professional and responsive to our needs. It turned out that once they started placement of the new tank was more problematic than originally antisipated. Although to complete the project took weeks instead of days, they made sure the use of our septic system was never impacted.

My experience was good and will continue using this company for all my septic system needs.

If you are having a leachfield installed, the is not the company to use! I got several bids, and regret that I chose this company. They broke pipes that caused my front yard to sink several months after completing the work, and only admitted it because I was there to see the broken pipe. They claimed it was fixed, then another area sank down the next month, they said it was because I buried garbage under the area they worked on - and sent me pictures of a torn tarp, saying that was the reason it did not compact right. The work, the price, not making it right, leaving pipes sticking up,very unprofessional and overall horrible service. Use ANYONE except this company.

I just got a bill for $74 to cut down the pipes they left in my lawn for over a year. They mailed it to the wrong address. I just don't even know where to start.

It's been a month since. I requested a estimate to install septic tank. Hummm they must be real busy or management just doesn't know what's going on. Still no estimate. I called Toms Septic for same estimate and they were out there in one day and received estimate 2 days later. This is my second experience with this company. Not on my first call list any more and will not get good reference from me.

If negative stars was an option, that would be my rating. Called PSTS to pump out our septic tank. After the pumping, they told us that the tank was shot and needed to be replaced. PSTS gave us a bid of over $11,000 for the job and charged us over $1,200 for the pump out. We called to ask a few questions and had to call several times since they did not return our call. They said they lost our paperwork. Tried to schedule the installation of the new tank but a contractor friend of ours suggested we use a small operator who we called. He showed up right away and gave us a bid of $7,000 to replace the tank. He did all the paperwork, got the County Health Department out to issue a permit and after he came out to install the new tank he first pumped out the tank again. He told us that on further inspection of the empty tank there was nothing wrong with it. It only needed a new cover. He installed the new cover and charged us only $300 for all his work. I've heard of others who have had a similar and worse experience with PSTS. I'll never call these guys again.

I hired PSTS to replace an old septic tank, and to fix the pipes connecting to it. The job was complicated by the facts that the site was not easily accessible with heavy equipment and that I asked them to be very careful of the trees in the vicinity of the septic tank as well as a fragile rock wall. The job is completed, and all my trees and the rock wall are intact. The work was completed rapidly, and very professionally. Several people worked on the site, all very polite and professional, but I was most pleased by the two main employees, Rod and Eduardo. These two employees are definitely a strong asset to the company. They were always on time, pleasant, communicative, and hard workers.

These guys have been great. We have been using them for years for our plumbing and septic service. They do great work, always get to us fast in an emergency, and are great to work with. I would highly recommend them.
