If I could rate this experience at 0 stars instead of 1, I would. I live in a small condo complex and my unit is above a garage. There was a leak directly underneath my bathtub which seeped through the sheet rock in the garage. My property manager recommended Pruzansky to me, so I called them.

I did a little research myself and found it was the waste and overflow pipe that needed to be replaced, which looked to be around $40-$50 for the part. They were friendly initially as I told them about the problem and scheduled an appointment. The woman on the phone told me if they sent 1 plumber, and they did work, it would be minimum $150, $250 for 2 plumbers. I told them it was only a small leak but trusted them to do right by me. The communication was good, they called me and said they had a crew in the town next to me already and to expect them within the hour. When they got here, I showed them the exposed leak (the sheetrock had already been cut around the pipe) and they confirmed it was the waste and overflow. They then said they did not have the part on hand but would make a phone call, and that the piece itself was only $40.

He came back and rang my doorbell with papers in his hands and told me it was going to cost $750. $750! This obviously was a shock, as I had asked around and people told me they paid only a few hundred dollars, $350 max, for this exact problem. I was not pleased and expressed it to the man. When I told him I would not pay that and was going to shop around, he tells me ""well you still gotta pay the $265 for us coming."" This, of course, made me even more angry. I told him no and he said to expect a phone call.

No more than 2 minutes later my phone rang and it was Pruzansky. The woman was very, very nasty with me and as I told her I refused to pay anything she put her manager on the phone who began to lecture me as if I were a child. I began raising my voice with him out of frustration, telling him I would not be shaken down for $750 when I know that price is a ripoff. He was extremely rude and unprofessional to me, saying ""this is how business operates."" I hung up, made a few calls, and scheduled another plumbing company who quoted me $175 TOTAL.

I understand the COVID-19 pandemic has put businesses in difficult situations financially, but that is no excuse to absolutely attempt to bamboozle and rip off a hard-working middle-class individual like myself. I would not recommend this company at all if you have even so much as a slight plumbing problem. I am very, very disappointed with this place, as they were recommended by my property manager.

If you do have an issue, I would highly suggest to shop around first before agreeing to do anything at all with them. Good luck.

Unbelievable. I am a nurse with a simple toilet problem and they could not meet me half way by coming a little later. It is ok that I am working literally 50 to 60 hours to vaccinate the public and employees where I work, but their main concern is OT for emergency only on Saturdays or that they are done by 4:30 pm. Luckily the nursing profession has more compassion and doesn't see only dollar signs. Thanks for nothing Pruzansky. Shame on you.

I was willing to leave early but could not make the 2pm Tim e slot. All the woman cared about was money, money and money.

thanks for being so helpful to a nurse during a pandemic. This is the reason I am writing this review. Shame on you!!!

Always prompt and professional, for jobs both big and small. They are my go to in case of emergency and for routine maintenance. I appreciated their honesty too. My garbage disposal wasnt working properly and rather than trying to sell me a new unit the technician spent the time to actually fix the unit and save me money!

Was referred by a trusted friend and didn't let me down. Purchased a new home that needed a new hot water heater. They were knowledgeable reasonable and professional. We continue to use them when we have other HVAC and plumbing issues. I like Jeremy the HVAC tech, he's good if you want to request.

Someone came to fix a small leak occurring at the base of my toilet. At the end of the job, they explained that the work had a 30 day guarantee. About 28 days after the work, we noticed the same leak. They sent someone else who again, seemed to fix the problem. About 28 days later, we noticed the same issue so called again to have someone come out. On that call, 2 guys passed me back and forth, either pretending to not understand what I was calling about or not actually understanding what I was calling about which was pretty straight forward and was easily understood when I called 28 days and 48 days prior with the same problem. At the end of the phone call, they confirmed an appointment for the following week. No one showed up for the appointment so I called to see if I was mistaken. They said there was no appointment scheduled, they could not give an appointment for that week at all and they would need to call me back to confirm when they could come. Days later and I'm still waiting so it appears their strategy is to be exceptionally difficult to deal with so you just give up. It works as they are not worth your money.

We had an issue with one of our AC units. Made the call to Pruzansky Plumbing and they quickly dispatched the technician in the middle of the summer within two hours!. The technician was super professional and was wearing a mask and gloves when he arrived. We appreciate that right now. He got us back up and running quickly. I'd highly recommend using these guys!

Master plumber Gala worked efficiently and creatively, quickly solving my baseboard hot water thermostatic control and valve installation quirks on the fly, adding cut-off and drain valves omitted when built. The completed installation was so beautiful it was a shame to cover. A joy to watch a master at work!

I am so thankful that I found this company. I recently renovated a small studio and needed to install plumbing for a vanity. Trying to find all of the right contractors/ handymen is such an overwhelming process in general and I just needed to find a team that I could trust and at a reasonable price. I needed a plumber asap and Pruzansky Plumbing was able to do the work the following day. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect but my handyman saw their work once it was completed and said it looked ""beautiful and flawless."" Who knew plumbing could be beautiful? The two plumbers that they sent to me were so professional and considerate, and I could tell they really knew what they were doing. They weren't the cheapest quote that I received, but they wern't the most expensive either. I'm so glad that I spent a few extra dollars to have it done correctly and I feel confident that there won't be any issues down the line. One of the things that sealed the deal for me was that they have been around so long and have an excellent relationship with the town, so getting a permit was not as daunting as I thought. I highly recommend Pruzansky Plumbing!
