They installed a new water heater 6 months ago and it is now leaking. When I called them up they told me they only warrantee their labor 30 days, and 60 days parts. The water heater has a 5 year warrantee.
They said they could come out and could install a new water heater but I would have to pay the labor rate.
I plan on filing a complaint with the ROC ""registrar of contractors"" and the ""attorney general. I am also letting old republic know to never send this contractor any work on any of my rental home.
If you are having similar problems, contact the ""ROC"" and ""Attorney General"". Do not let them take advantage of you and other people.

Very poor service, the technician sent out had an attitude from the beginning about our job and told the home warranty company there was nothing wrong with our faucets despite they were highly corroded, low water flow and missing stoppers. Clearly they did not want to do that much work for their flat $140 rate so they black balled us on the claim so basically we paid $85 for nothing. I complained to the company and they sided with their employee, probably even commended him for saving them money. Then he turned off the water under one sink without saying anything just to be more of a jerk. Don't hire them, you've been warned

We've used Pruitt's Plumbing many times. We came across them because that is who our home warranty company sent us. It's difficult to find trades that do good, thorough work out here in Bullhead City. Pruitt's sent James to fix our toilet almost 5 years ago... James is AMAZING!!! There has not been one thing that he hasn't been able to correct for us. He's very professional and knows his trade very well. We have now been working with James for 5 years and 3 houses. He is not only a great plumber but an awesome person. He's very professional, super knowledgeable and extremely honest. He is more than willing to explain everything to help you decide what your best options are. Never do you feel that he's just trying to make money off of you. Every time James has done work at our houses we feel that it's been done correctly and at a very fair price. It totally sucks when your plumbing has issues but knowing that it'll all be 100% after James leaves is a great feeling. Kudos to James for always caring and doing great work.

My house had a terrible leak, they tried to locate it. I am understanding and knew they would have to cut some drywall! However this is totally unacceptable, the way they left my home! I even had a general contractor consult with them. Everything is so hacked up my contractor has to go back in and even add studs behind the drywall. There is a fine dust all over my entire house~ Last Thursday evening they said all done ""we checked everything and it all works"" well I went in and there was still urine in the toilet because we had water off and on for over a week. The sinks were connected but only one. The warranty people need to take them off their list.
The only smart one is Jake, and he and the other one Brent call you honey, sweet heart! Well guess what that will get you no where when you are destroying my home! Shame on these people and the warranty company for trusting my home to them.
I can't even consciously thank Jake or any of them my home is so hacked up, the plumbing they re-ran under the kitchen sink isn't even back in the wall they cut out it is exposed!!!!

Had a warranty job. they said that is would still be over $1000. since they had to move the water softener. They love to scam people and add extra stuff to the price

AWFUL, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER REVIEW!!! INCOMPETANT and ILL-EQUIPED!!!
This contractor was called out by my home warranty company. They were called out for a LEAKING hot water heater, THE GUY SHOWS UP WITH NO RAGS OR WET DRY VACCUM OR ANY WAY TO CONTAIN OR CLEAN-UP WATER!!!
I had to supply my own old bed sheets and t-shirts to him to clean up the mess HE was making. Which was actually a larger mess than the leaking hot water tank made in the first place (since I caught it quick). I can't believe he wasn't equipped or prepared to deal with LEAKING water.
He hooks up his drain hose to the tank and begins to drain it. However, there is a constant drip from the base of HIS hose he brought that is now starting to flood the entire closet the water heater is in. He comes in and sees it and has the tiniest rag you've ever seen and is trying to sop it up. We're talking gallons on the floor and a rag the size of a washcloth that he keeps trying to ring out in the bucket (that I again provided). He then leaves the leaking hose and says he wants to make sure it's flowing out the other end. Instead of coming right back in to deal with the leaking water (that he knows is happening because he was just trying to sop it up with his washcloth) he goes out to his truck and gets in it with it running and just sits in it while the tank is ""draining"", however, since he left the draining tank unoccupied and since there is a LEAK coming from HIS HOSE, a pool is starting to form in the closet again, but he is nowhere to be found!!! So I run out to my garage and grab my wet/dry vac and get on my hands and knees in this wet closet and start sucking all the water up. The entire time the tank is ""draining"" he is in his truck and I'm in there battling this leak coming from his work/equipment. It was honestly the stupidest thing I've witnessed by a contractor in some time. You came out for a water leak, but have no ability to contain or clean up any water???
Then he says the water is still hot and wants to go check the breaker to make sure the heater is off (which it was and I told him as such). He goes to the breaker box anyways on the side of my house and does nothing because I already shut the breaker off. However, he leaves the breaker box door wide open when he leaves. I had no idea it was open for hours. Until my lady (whose office shares a wall with the box) says, why was the contractor at our breaker box slamming it around? So I went out to check on it and found it wide open. When he found it, it was closed with an open Masterlock through the lock hole to make sure it didn't come open. It was not put back like he found it at all. Again, he just left it open and exposed to the elements.
Then, on-top of that. They want to charge $350 for $60 worth of work, replacing the two flex lines that run to the tank and the pressure valve drain line. I tell them, I will do that part myself, all I need you to do is bring the new water heater in. He says, ""oh company policy we can't do that."" Why not? ""Because then we can't guarantee the work on those hoses."" ""No problem, I don't need a guarantee on the hoses, just the water heater."" He has no good answer other than they can't do that. I say, ""Well I'm certainly not going to pay you guys to do it.""
Called American Home Shield, got the cash out option instead and saved a ton doing it myself. What they wanted $350 for cost me $60 and an hour of my time.
There is a reason Pruitt's works with home warranty companies. No reputable contractor needs business from a warranty company because they are too busy with real work. STAY AWAY FROM THESE IDIOTS!!! Do yourself a favor and get the cash out option and choose the contractor you want to work with or do it yourself.
Also, for those of you that don't know, you can file complaints against contractors in the state of Arizona. Just check out - roc.az.gov

My garbage disposer went out and I called the home warranty company again. They assigned the call to Pruitt's again. OUTSTANDING service again! On time, very knowledgeable, professional demeanor. No hassle replacement. Great company!

I had attempted to change the flush and fill valves in a guest bathroom toilet. The shut off valve from wall was frozen so had to shut main valve to whole house. Disaster when everything leaked and had to cap off valve to allow water in rest of house. Called American Home Shield and they assigned Pruitt's. Even though they couldn't come same day, they emailed time window for next morning (Sunday) from 8-12. Next morning received email time would be 11-12 and Kyle arrived at 11:15.
He assessed the situation and fixed both toilet and wall valve. Then stayed to make sure nothing leaked. Spent and hour and a half to resolve.
Thank you

I have had to take off two days of work due to this company not being able to communicate with their techs. The warranty company only contacts this company. I can not continue to play games and loose money due to them not showing for an appointment . I would give 0 stars if I could terrible .
