Home warranty company [American Home Shield ... AHS]arranged service with Pruitts. Pruitts initial service to stop flooding from bad water heater was fast and efficient. Pruitts installation service of new hot water heater was also done very efficiently the day that they received the new hot water heater. [However, the home warranty company AHS did everything poorly ... lack of communication within AHS, lack of coordination to Pruitts, lack of communication with us plus sending the new water heater to wrong location, etc]. Pruitts went out of their way to help get things corrected, but AHS was a disaster each step of the way -- it took 17 days for AHS to get Pruitts a new water heater to install for us. Yea Pruitts, boo AHS.

Received the best quote to install my tankless water heater from this company which my warranty company had referred us to when our old tank water heaters went out. It started out rocky when I had an 8-12 service window and they did not show up until 3 p.m. to do a complete install. The tech finally left at 8 p.m., obviously in a hurry to get out. When I went to check my faucets, only half my house had hot water. Originally we had two water heaters, and the way they were plumbed was one heater serviced half the home. Instead of sending the outflow from the tankless to both sides, the tech capped one off and only plumbed to one of them, hence only water on one side. This was on a Thursday, I called them immediately to report the problem and Friday I get a call that no one can come out until Monday afternoon because they are booked. I asked why this wouldn't qualify as an emergency to have someone come out right away and was told as long as I had one shower working with hot water, it was not an emergency, even though my kitchen and two other bathrooms had no hot water. He comes back on Monday, says he will go into my attic to tie the lines together, and he ends up cutting the main water line and sending water all over in my attic, into my garage and the adjoining bathroom before he is able to shut the water off. Seems like he finally got it fixed, but I have no idea if I am going to have any long term water damage up there. Very poor experience with Matt.

This company came out on 10/28/20 to repair a leaking shut off value, the line coming out of the wall was cut to short so the value is inside the drywall and can not be sealed properly. Never came back to fix it and was told to call my home warranty again. Again on 03/10/21 they came out to fix a weak in ceiling pipes fixed 2 weeks but still leaking. The technician cut the cold water line to the bathtub and left it. said he""d contact his office to come back out and repair never did. so if you turn on the shower the water pours from ceiling in laundry room where pipe was cut. called them again and said that wasnt in notes, than got tech on line and he said he did remember that, but told to do a recall with warranty again. so pay $150 in deductables from warranty and nothing fixed. worst customer service and workmanship i've seen. don't use this company.

Big difference the second time around . James was the second Technician to fix the problem. The first one wouldn't listen and said that there was nothing wrong with our garbage disposal, even though you could clearly see there was. James was friendly, he listened to my concerns, and agreed with me that there was in fact a problem with my garbage disposal. Plumber James did a fantastic job. He was efficient, in and out within 1/2 hour. He gets what he earned 5 Stars.

From start to finish was horrible unfortunately. Had a 4 hour window to arrive, and still showed up 20 minutes late :/ The tech that came to my home laughed when I did not know there was a switch I had to flip in the kitchen (I had no clue), laughed once again due to the fact that I called a plumber for the main water valve when it should have been a landscaper (had no clue), and then to top it off lied to my insurance company saying that I tampered with the washers cold water valve so it could not be replaced, when all I did was remove the washers hose to put a new washer in. I'm furious with the unprofessionalism and the fact I have to make another claim because the tech was too lazy to change a valve. I do not recommend at all!! I wish I could remember his name, heavier set Caucasian gentleman who did not care about his appearance, unprofessional.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET THESE CROOKS INTO YOUR HOME. Like other reviewers, I had a Pruitt's 'plumber' come out and look at my water heater because it was not heating the water. They told the warranty company it was leaking from the bottom due to corrosion and rust. They never discussed this with me, and it never leaked from the bottom before the 'plumber' came out and expressed water out the front and said 'oh crap'. A licensed plumber would have known that by loosening that valve/nut/screw (whatever it was) would have this result. All they want you to do is pay them to do the work directly, and add on $313.00 on top of whatever the warranty company will pay them directly. They straight up lied to my warranty company in the middle of a nationwide pandemic and now I have to wait for another local plumber to come out and replace my water heater at full price so I can follow CDC guidelines for sanitation. Please read all other reviews and see this is a pattern for this company. If you have a warranty company, make sure you hear the report and see the pictures they take before they make the claim - do not let them hide from you in their truck so they can do to you what was done to me. They're an absolute disgrace.

very rude people called for an emergency Thursday they said they could be out on Friday....I called Friday morning I was then told non emergency. i told them I'm having company over and cant run water it backs up in garage and goes into backyard they said non emergency not even willing to try and work me in and the receptionist there is very rude do not recommend them ever very disappointed in their customer service

I am very happy with the service from these guys. They arrived on time, they removed and replaced the water heater in a timely manner, leaving their work area clean and better then they way it was when they arrived. I highly recommend Pruitts plumbing for anyone needing plumbing work.
Picture attached of the finished work.
Two thumbs up to James and Matt. Both, contacted us when they were on the way, what they were gonna do, and arrived on time both days. I could not expect them to do a better job.
If there is any plumbing need, I will call them first.
Thank you guys.

Wow! This company was forced on me by my warranty provider. Not only did they falsify documentation to the warranty company they then tried to extort payment for the repairs from me! This came directly from the owner, not an employee. I have since gotten a second opinion and the fix is underway. Stay away if you want any hope of a legitimate repair.

If I could give Pruitt's plumbing a minus number it would be a minus ten. Pruitt plumbing came out to check a water leak in our home. Our homeowner insurance sent them. They came out and instead of fixing the plumbing they called out the dry wall people saying that the place had to dry out, so we were out of water on Friday over the weekend and until the next Thursday. They came out and said the leak was fixed. They drove away and charged us $2,250.00. We started cleaning up our kitchen and noticed that we did not have any cold water so we called them and after they finished what they were doing came back and fixed our cold water to the kitchen. Then we called the dry wall people to come and pick up their fans they noticed the wood was not dried out. That is when we discovered another water leak. We called Pruitt's Plumbing and they said they would be out later that night, which was Friday then on Saturday they sent out a kid to look at our plumbing. Needless to say that the leak was a lot worse because the kid did not know what he was doing. The kid left Saturday not saying a word to anyone. While here working on the plumbing the kid called on his phone. Then told me he was going to have to start all over again. When he left without talking to me I called his office and they disconnected me and would not call me back. This company is not very professional. I would not recommend them to do business with. We still do not have water but I paid them. Had a plumber come out today, Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Said Pruitt's plumbing overcharged us and did not do the job.
