My home warranty company (actually property mgnt since we are renting) keeps sending this company. I don't know why because it always is a hassle, takes several trips and nothing is done correctly. Right now its February in Phoenix and my hot water tank isn't working- so NO HOT WATER, I reported this on Friday, and the earliest someone can be here is MONDAY? so 4 days with kids and NO HOT WATER, between the home warranty company and pruitts plumbing no one can tell me if this will be fixed monday or what the potential time line is. I've dealt with this headache of a company before and the work is lowball, substandard. Last time I needed a new kitchen faucet and the price on amazon was $7- seriously people, you need to do better. Pruitts is open on Saturday but doesn't have any appointments, I would think NO HOT WATER and children would be an emergency but the perfect storm of a cheap and lazy owner, an even lazier property mgnt company, a bad home warranty company and a plumber who is terrible leaves a family with no hot water for 4 days.

Was going to charge a grieving widow $125 more to move a water softener. This company was already there to replace the water heater; would not have required much more work.

They're terrible. Still.
Home warranty sent them again. They arrived 2 hours after their 4 hour window. They would not replace anything and said they would call with a price quote to replace the broken pipes with stainless steel. Four weeks later, still no call and no follow up to fix the issue.
(We called a different company [CLW plumbing] and had it fixed same day, no hassle. No further broken plumbing or drama)

Had a plumbing emergency and our home warranty company connected us to Pruitt's. Katie was so friendly and kept in touch until we were connected with Javier. He was amazing!!! Very friendly and prompt service. I would absolutely recommend him for any pluming issues!

Had such an awful experience with this company. I'm giving two stars because at least they didn't flood the whole house, after reading some of their other reviews it technically could have been worse, but what a disaster.
I found out my water heater was rusted out during the inspection while selling an empty condo. Pruitts was brought in to replace it.
First, the charged me $100 to move my washer and dryer, which were in the way of the WH. Fine, but they promised they would put them back too. They did, but flipped them so the dryer door is now blocked by the wall. I asked them to fix it, and they actually made a whole trip to the condo just to leave it exactly the same. I assume they just went to use the bathroom, since they almost made a point out of trashing the bathrooms.. I don't know what else they would have done there that time.
Next, they charged me another $100 extra to move the shelf above the water heater out of the way too, also saying they would put it back as part of the fee. Instead, it was apparently difficult to move so rather than letting me know, they took a hammer to it and broke it off the wall in many pieces, which they left strewn in bits all over the kitchen and living area. Not only did they not waive the $100 fee after destroying the only shelf available for laundry supplies that would obviously have to be replaced, they told me it had to be done because the water heater they got was too big. So I paid $100 for them to smash a shelf off my walls...
Which brings me to the next issue. The area where the WH is is a small nook for the WH, the washer and dryer. The contractor that came in to fix the wall and shelf after Pruitts trashed them said there wouldn't have been any issue getting a WH that was the right size, it was just lazy work. I agree. So now the washer and dryer barely fit, and since they are in backward too the dryer won't open.
Finally, they TRASHED the condo. It was empty and had been professionally cleaned before they started, but by the time their 5 visits were done (there was always a reason they needed another visit) there was garbage, nails, food waste, coffee cups, etc all over the kitchen and living area, the toilet seats and floors were covered in pee stains and hair, the toilets themselves were even worse, it was disgusting. Not normal construction waste, really excessive. We had to have it cleaned again. When I passed this along to the company, they were not concerned, pretty clear it was standard business. Which is actually the final issue, the customer service! I don't even have words, they were so mean!!
If you do decide to go with Pruitts, be prepared for a lot of extra fees, zero communication, total area and bathroom destruction, and the worst customer service possible when you call (so much attitude!! And I'm a kill you with kindness person, so that doesn't happen to me often). And if they do trash anything or mess up, don't expect them to pay for it. In fact, they'll probably charge you for the work it took to trash it. Never again!!!

WARNING: D- rating with BBB. They earned it. 5 of their guys couldn't find the 'clean outs"" to our house. On the 3rd time at our house Mike Pruitt (owner, Scott's brother) put a camera down the toilet and informed my 83yo mother that because of water in the pipe (a cracked broken pipe???) they couldn't find clean outs HOWEVER, they KNEW they would have to jackhammer the driveway to find and or install pipes; possibly to the street to clear blockage. This would be a $5000.00-$20,000.00 job! This did not include repairing driveway or landscaping. We got a 2nd opinion. The plumber looked at same model homes on our street, found the clean outs and cleared pipes. We went ahead and had the A rated BBB company run their camera through the pipes. ZERO issues! Fee: $500.00. Talked to Mike Callaway GM/Pruitts for refund of $442.00 paid to open blockage and their camera. He wanted to run his own camera to justify refund! I told him all trust was lost and not allowed on property. He was Rude, Condescending, had a stupid answer for everything. Called back the next day to tell me, I didn't want to know the truth!
TRUTH-I would build an outhouse in my backyard before I EVER hired this company!

Doesnt even deserve one star. Dishonest technicians and an owner (Mike) who is willing to call a customer and tell them they are lying.
Back in May my tankless heater needed repairs. All parts were supplied under warranty by the manufacturer. Pruitts was hired to exchange all the parts provided. After they were at my home I had hot water and assumed the job was done.
Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, my unit starts leaking water and throwing the same error codes. I contacted the manufacturer to see if it was all still under warranty. Part of their determination is to take photos of the unit. After they compared my old photos to my new photos they noticed the parts were never exchanged. They still had the old date stamp on them, so unfortunately it is no longer covered under warranty.
So I contacted Pruitts to help make this situation right and allowed them to do their own investigation. Upon doing so, they called me and said I was lying about the parts being provided to the tech to do his job.
Im speechless. I now have nothing under warranty because they did not replace the parts provided and I am stuck with a completely destroyed unit in need of replacing (thousands of dollars in repairs). Do not trust them! They are dishonest from top to bottom.

This place is NOT professional. they came over to my house and diagnosed the issue with my water heater: a gas valve. It took a week and a half for the part to arrive but when it finally did they installed it and they realized that it wasn't the gas valve at all. It was the pilot assembly that needed to be replaced. After calling the company every day for an entire week i finally got them to escalate the problem and they ordered a part to be delivered with by the following Monday. That is 3 full weeks to fix a water heater that went out. I had tenants on my property complaining to me day-in and day-out about the cold water meanwhile these people at Pruitt's Plumbing can't do any better than 3 weeks of lead-time. As a customer I became utterly sick of hearing: ""Sorry sir the parts department can't move any faster than that"" or"" the part is coming from the manufacturer out in the Midwest, this is the fastest delivery we have"".
After calling multiple times i have a pretty good idea of what the problem is: there are some incompetent technicians who cant figure out plumbing problems to save their lives and they do not have a solid channel of communication to the parts people who actually fulfill orders. This makes it very difficult to get it right the first time and make customers happy. I had a lengthy conversation with OneGuard about why they should drop Pruitt's from their list of companies. Ridiculous.

Worst plumbing company ever!!!! The plumber ""fixed"" a leaky handle on my upstairs shower and flooded my bathroom and the bedroom below. Now it's been 3 weeks as they can't ""locate parts""
Don't EVER call these people!!!!

Complete garbage trash of a company. I used them for they were recommended by my homeowners warranty One Guard. I called them and i explained that i believed there was an irrigation leak. They came over just to tell me to call an irrigation company instead. Then the guy that was going to inspect stated ""did anyone let you know there is a fee of $96 to come out here"" and i told him there was no heads up on that AND i told the company prior to coming out that it was irrigation. I called in and told them to listen to the recordings that i was never advised of any fee... just to come over and say they agree it was irrigation and to use someone else. The fee was to repeat my own words back to me on a letter requesting $96 for it. Never use this company. I just requested service and they scheduled Pruitts again and i declined for a different company... to get actual service
