Bob was great. He fixed the leak in my shower very quickly. I called him at 11:00am and he was here by 2:00 pm the same day. Can't get better service than that

Well just when I lost faith in home repair services, I meet Bob of Prudent Plumbing! I moved to El Dorado Hills last year and had a series of bad experiences with services for our furnace and landscape lighting.

When I started looking for a plumber I got a no show from the first guy, so I decided to visit Yelp and see what I could find. Wow Prudent Plumbing got a straight set of 5 stars. Now I know why! This professional plumber came on time, changed out the kitchen faucet and installed a new one. He even found that the installation of my garbage disposal was jury rigged and fixed that for no extra.

IF you need a plumber, call Prudent Plumbing. I was impressed and I believe you will be too.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! If I could give negative stars I would. Yes like other reviewers he was able to come the same day but he does crappy work. We called him because we had a leak under the sink, he originally said that it was coming from one place, but then when we said we thought it was coming from our instant hot he quickly changed his mind and said it would be 150 dollars to delete it from the plumbing. then we asked about taking the unit out all together and it would be another 150 for that. so we just had him delete it. meaning he had to switch one nob from a two opening to a one. Well a few days later it smelt like something was burning and a horrible horrible smell that I couldnt even be in the house for. I called BONNY PLUMBING at that point, and the smell was because the original guy, prudent plumbing, didnt unplug the instant hot he just told us he deleted which cause the unit to fry so what we were smelling was the unit burning. I asked the nice guy from BONNY PLUMBING how much it would be to remove the instant hot he said it wouldnt be a problem and it wouldnt cost anything because it was just lifting it of the base. literally lifting and this thing is maybe 2 pounds. Prudent plumbing was going to charge an ADDITIONAL 150 to take it off a freeking base? are you kidding me!!!! not to mention he fried my other unit. DO not use this guy, save yourself the time and just go to Bonny Plumbing!!

If I could give 10 stars I would! I have spent a lot of time and money on plumbing issues and have never been very satisfied. I found Bob on Yelp and once again Yelp proved to be great.

Bob came to my house the same day I called him and fixed both of my problems. I now have the water pressure I have wanted for 10 years. He is very professional and really does a great job. I will now call Bob for any of my plumbing issues and give his name to all of my friends.

Very happy... Bob was at my house within 20 minutes of me calling him regarding a backup/overflow issue I was having. Even though he only had 2 ""not easy"" options to work with, he had my problem fixed and was all cleaned up less than an hour after arriving at my house.

Fast and friendly, and I will definitely be recommending him to others!

I give Bob (owner) and Prudent Plumbing 5 stars all the way.

He first came to my home Saturday morning after we called due to a back up in our lines in the backyard. He came out, worked for at least a half hour trying to snake the lines. No success but did find that we had a hole in our main drain pipe and said he wouldnt be able to clear the lines until it was fixed. He told us what needed to be done and said it would save us alot of money if my husband did the labor of digging up the pipes himself, then he packed up and left with no charge. We couldnt believe he had been there for almost an hour and didnt charge us.

My husband did what he needed to do to make the pipes accessible (digging up the yard) but then found the pipe that had the hole had alot more issues than we expected and that we had some oddly rigged up pipes and lines and basically needed alot more done to it than my husband was wanting to invest his time into. We called Bob back and asked him to come by for an estimate on replacing the piping. He came back out, gave us an estimate and finished up the job at exactly what he quoted. He did great work, price was acceptable and he was very professional. I asked why he didnt charge us for the housecall when he first came out on Saturday and he said, ""Why charge my customers for something I didnt fix"". That is a professional who cares about his customers.

My husband usually handles all the plumbing needs around my house. Not anymore.... I will ALWAYS call Prudent Plumbing going forward. I recommend Bob and Prudent to anyone with plumbing needs. Seriously, he has 5 stars from many of his customers including myself..... That is a great accomplishment as it is not easy to please all!!

I would highly recommend Prudent Plumbing. Called after reading all the great reviews on yelp.Bob came out on time and when he arrived took a look at my leaky faucet and was very honest and told me all it needed was to be tightened and didn't charge me a dime! He seems very honest and friendly.Hopefully I will not need a plumber in the future...but if I should I will most definitely call Bob.

I had a tub clog that my husband and I just couldn't do ourselves. I called Bob this morning after seeing all of these great reviews on Yelp. He was professional and charged what he quoted. He got the job fast and I would absolutely recommend him.

Bob is super friendly, fast, and professional. He even took off his shoes before entering my home. To top it off he asked if there were any other plumbing issues I would like him to look at prior to him leaving. The great reviews are all true!

We called Bob on a Saturday morning, and he was to our house before 1pm. There was no emergency; he is just efficient and has a great work ethic. We are very satisfied with the job he did. He was easy to work with and was always concerned about not inconveniencing us. As an aside, we happened to call a bigger name local business before calling Bob. Since it wasn't an emergency, they said they would call us back Monday. It has been almost three weeks, and we still haven't heard back from them. Thank you, Bob.
