Great service! Very straightforward water heater replacement that was completed really quickly on short notice. It was more expensive than we had hoped but I think it was reasonable overall. I liked that I was informed on the process and why we needed the replacement as well as some other changes that would bring us up to code. I would call them again for other things too in the future.

This Proview technician came to look at my tankless water heater for a possible gas leak situation. He looked at the water heater for a short while, and without even opening up my water heater, he declared i had a cracked heat exchanger in the water heater, and shortly after that the company offered a brand new replacement for $5,000+ , to be completed on the same day. They didn't even bother to look into the warranty situation for my water heater, which carries a 10+ yr warranty on the heat exchanger. Of course, i didn't bite, and hired an honest, licensed professional ( fortunately) to follow up on that, who averred to the soundness of my water heater. The possible gas leak situation was resolved by another honest professional for $289.00, who just had to replace a faulty nut on the supplying gas line, and did a thorough job of testing my water heater using a gas leak detector,

I have a Navien water heater only 3 years old. The technician couldn't find anything wrong and just suggested we need a new water heater and want to charge $5000 for it.
Navien has 15 years warranty. The water heater just needs a maintenance service.
The technician even called my tenants to pressure me to replace on that day. Made my tenants so nervous about the situation.

I had 2 more experienced plumbers came over and both of them said there was nothing wrong with the water heater. Both of them even said not even maintenance service was necessary. If there is anything wrong an error sign will show up. There's no error sign. No sign of leaking gas.
