I called JP Marshall of Proven Plumbing for him to do some bathroom plumbing. When I checked up with the state of Georgia, he was unlicensed and had actually had his plumbing license surrendered. Please check out his credentials with the Georgia Board of Plumbing Contractors. Search for Jean Marshall or Jean Pierre Marshall.

My gas on my stove and fireplace was not working. I called Proven Plumbing. JP Marshall showed up with his son. JP did an evaluation and quote of almost $2500. He asked for $1500 down to start the job. I thought is was odd to request for more than 50%. He seemed honest and nice. I gave him a check for the $1500. He cashed it and has not been seen since. I have called, e-mailed and texted him hundreds of times. On occasion he has responded with another excuse of why he cannot come do the job or return the money. It is now over 4 months and he does not respond at all. DO NOT USE PROVEN PLUMBING if you want to keep your money.

I recently had a terrible experience with Proven Plumbing! John came to my house to make repairs to my shower and replace a leaky faucet. He did not check his work after he completed the job. The hot and cold water is reversed in both of my bathrooms. My family has to try to set the shower perfectly to get hot water. I have made sveral attempts to reach out to him to come back to fix the errors. He was paid for a job that he did not complete. He has been very unprofessional in his attempts to correct his errors. My family and I have been inconvenienced with this issue for almost 30 days. He has yet to repair his errors. My experience with Proven Plumbing was horrible. I do not recommend that you use Proven Plumbing.

Our water heater stopped working a couple of days ago and we called Proven Plumbing to replace it. To my surprise, we didn't need a new water heater. John changed some valves and flushed the tank and (voila!) we were back in business - hot water! I appreciate the fact that John didn't soak us for a brand new water heater. He was honest, professional and in and out in less than an hour. I think Proven Plumbing is the best plumber we've dealt with since we moved to Atlanta.
