I contacted Proto home services after having a bad experience with another company. Without heat during December, they came out on a Saturday within 1.5 hours of when I called to assess the problem and returned Monday morning to make the repair. The team was communicative, kind, and thorough in their work. I feel they went above and beyond to help me and I would highly recommend this company. Next time I have an issue I will definitely call Proto Home Services first.

Tried to unclog a leaking drain. Didn't do it. Made the problem worse. Nice guys, but couldn't get the job done for me.

The plumber I hired after this business, he was able to fix the problem in an hour. I left a decent review that summed up my experience, that's all.

Peri responded quickly to my initial request, provided a very competitive quote, and did an excellent job, quickly. He even sent me reminders prior to my appointment. When completing the work, Peri was thoughtful about it and recommended alternatives to what we initially had requested (which was not based on expert knowledge), but still stayed within budget. We have had a great experience working with Peri and have hired him for future, larger projects as well.

Water heater went. Contacted Proto Home Services at 7pm and they were able to come and replace it the next morning. Highly recommended. 24/7 availability is excellent. Will definitely contact them in the future for any plumbing issues.

They came when no one else could. I put in a Yelp request at 8PM and they said they could be here at 7AM the next day to install it. That was so unexpectedly fast that I was not prepared to be available, but it was done within 24 hours. Fast, professional, courteous installation at a good price.

Referred to them for boiler replacement, remove existing and install new. After sending requested pictures work area etc I was given 2 options, opted for the more expensive one and asked for proposal with warranty info on equipment and workmanship. Didn't get written proposal was told job required 50% up front and they would drive to get deposit check for job that was week out rather than simply overnight check or meet them a site, red flag , stay way if they can't put a proposal together, require 50% down when max is 33% per Ma law and want to drive to meet you for deposit check before even putting a proposal together or knowing warranty on items they sell ...,run away from Peri and Proto Home Services

My toilet was flooding and I reached out to Proto on a Monday morning and they were able to get to Boston that afternoon. My situation was more complicated than expected, and Peri was able to address it completely (along with his apprentice). They stayed into the early evening to make sure everything was taken care of. I am so grateful for their responsiveness, talent, and professionalism. They left everything looking as good as new.
