One star too many. My elderly in-laws had a new water heater installed 2 years ago. The igniter assembly failed recently and this company tried to rip them off, saying the part won't be available for months, and they need to replace with another new water heater for $1800. My father-in-law called Mountain Supply, part was in stock, and they sent a plumber. Within 4 hours, job was done. I absolutely hate businesses that prey on the elderly.

I live out in Forsyth and so even being two hours away, I was glad to find a plumber to come and help me with a clogged sewer line and a cracked sewer pipe. It's an older house that had been neglected before I bought it. They charge a travel fee of course, but still - when no one local called me back or even acknowledged my phone calls I thought I was still getting the better deal.

They explained the breakdown of the costs and that they travel all over the area, and as the only plumbers who do I think that deserves a fair rate. They came out within a few days and got everything done, and were exemplary in their work and professional in their handling of me and my situation. They did all the plumbing things I could find for them, along with explaining what they were doing and giving good advice.

Going from two toilets that don't work to two toilets that do, and having everything in good working order is like heaven. Now I have a great new house with excellent plumbing, thank you !

I was really happy to hear that my bill was $100 more than the Roto Rooter. This was a simple main line cleaning that took 20 min max they charged $250. If the kid would've used the bigger snake with an attachment on the end it would've been done in 10 min. Do yourself a favor and call Sewer Pro.

This was a few years ago but my basement flooded. Now this happens every year (Laurel's high water table and old pipes) so we knew the issues on getting into our basement and having to pump it out. Told dispatch what was going to be needed and they send a kid in a couple hours, only to be informed he doesn't have the equipment necessary to do the job and he has to call another guy to come over. Again we wait because this other guy is already on another job. He shows up and drains the basement and checked for clogs. Get the bill and they charged us for 2 workers, ummm that is your own fault. We were very clear what the issues would be! Owner was going to look into it but never got back to us. Best part... the sewer pipe was backing up because of a clog in the city pipe. So much for their checking the line!!! Yes, it backed up again but this time we called somebody else. Will never call this company again.

Called 3 1/2 hours ago for a simple plumbing job. We have called twice. This last call we were told the tech was given our information two hours ago. The woman who answered said she would have the tech call us. Still nothing. I will update my review if anyone ever calls or shows up. Not impressed.
Edit: finally called to cancel. Dispatch was surprised we didn't hear from their tech.

Billled2 hours. There 30 minutes. Said disposal was broken. friend fixed in 1 minute. Stay away.

Had an cooling problem and called ProTech after seeing that they were the only established dealer for my brand of geothermal unit in the area. I called first thing in the morning and talked to their dispatch person. I was told that she couldn't get ahold of the technician to schedule an appointment and would call me. Followed up again mid-day, and end of day, and told the same thing. I was told that I'd receive a call tomorrow, which has come and gone. After feeling silly for even considering a 4th attempt, I called White HVAC in town and they were happy to schedule an appointment, even though it had to be a few days out (probably busy serving attempted ProTech customers). White HVAC assured me they were able and willing to service and attain parts for any brand of system. I'd suggest calling White HVAC instead of ProTech.

Update - I never did hear for Protech, and White got my unit going in no time with some special equipment and expertise. They also advised of a maintenance procedure I could do myself to save me money (though they offered) with a few items off amazon. Very happy with White.
