We called Prostar Plumbing because of their Yelp reviews. Our grandson accidentally pulled the bathtub spout off the wall. We need to remodel our bathroom but not ready. However, we couldn't let the spout drop down our wall until then. Michael answered our call for help. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will be calling him again if the need arises. Dalton our plumber did an amazing job replacing our angle stop valves in our kitchen! From day one, he was already responsive and answered all my questions. I even had a last minute additional request that I forgot to bring up initially before he arrived and he was was able to accommodate to make sure I got what I needed to get done for my kitchen. I appreciate his flexibility and patience throughout the process given my HOA limited environment. I think we finally found our go-to plumber in the neighborhood! Prostar Plumbing was out and did a quick and efficient job on 8/12/2022 installing a new water heater in our home in Foothill Ranch. Both Earl and Dalton are very knowledgeable about their business.
Also, nice to support a veteran owned business. That military discipline and attention to detail shows through in their work and attitude.
Not the cheapest, but worth the money to get a job done right.

So we had several issues that I was postponing, but I had to call them when my faucet started spraying water all over the place. They came out the same day. I had them look at my toilet, my shower that wasn't draining well, and replace the kitchen faucet. My husband, who is pretty handy, but can no longer do things because of health issues said that the plumbing that Dalton replaced was a work of art. He was so pleased. I was just glad that they were able to fix everything and I thought at a reasonable price. We have had many plumbing issues and because of where we live, we will have many more. Prostar Plumbing is our new company.

We had a bathroom drain that was more than plugged, a faucet that didn't work at all, 2 showers that needed all new fixtures, a leak off the washing machine hook-up, & a toilet that would run for no reason.

This will now be my 4th time using ProStar and my 2nd review. Here's a quick summary of their visits

1. Dec 2020? They hooked up a watermaker for me that was left disconnected after the previous homeowner re-ran the plumbing to the kitchen bypassing the refrigerator. They also hooked up a gas line and reset a toilet. I previously wrote a review about this experience.

2. Nov 2021 I was remodeling a bathroom and the inspector made me dig up the concrete slab to put in a 2"" shower drain line (previously had 1.5"" where the tub was). They recommended a demo guy who spent 2 days jackhammering and then sent Mikail out who did the rough plumbing which passed inspection. Since this was an underground installation, Mikail had another plumber come out who specializes in new construction to verify everything was compliant with city codes before he put it together. Inspector came out next day and passed it.

3. Jan 2022 - I noticed water leaking through the stucco on the rear of my house off the master bath. Earl and Dalton came out and spent 3 hours opening up the stucco & accessing the pipes, draining about 2.5 gallons of water in the process. Somehow it did not leak back into my house and ruin any drywall, it was going straight to the exterior which was fortunate. They said due to everything being soaked (insulation soaks up water like a sponge) that they couldn't detect the leak till it dried out. I let it dry for a week, saw some small pin holes but otherwise nothing big enough to fill that area with water. I left this area open for 7-8 weeks and through a couple of rain storms to make sure the water wasn't leaking into the wall from the roof. It wasn't. Given the age of my home and the original pipes (the house has already had plenty of floods with the previous owner), I decided it would be best to repipe. By the way, they didn't charge me for this visit. I was amazed.

4. April 2022. Called Dalton @ ProStar to schedule the repipe. He said it would take 2 days and scheduled the guys to come out on a Thur at 8 AM. On the day of the repipe, 7 guys are outside my house at 7:55 AM. I let them in and give them a tour so they could see what they were working with. By 8:30 the entire house was covered in plastic sheets and the entire floor where they'd work had protective towels down. I couldn't believe how efficient this was. I trusted the guys and left the house for a few hours. I came back at 3 and they were almost done, by 4 PM the water was back on, and by 5 PM they were all gone and the house was back to normal (except for the hole to be patched).

The quality of their work was very apparent. My house had older pex installed by the previous owners in some areas and not others. The rest was copper. Prostar wanted to replace everything for the reason of knowing it was done right and being able to warranty it. They ran all new water lines in a much more logical fashion than what I had before. Every line was insulated. They changed out a couple of fixtures for me and added 2 hose bibs to the exterior of the house. Dalton came out and personally fixed a leaking drain line. The entire team was clean, courteous, and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed doing their job.

Everyone else told us to go with ""the big guys"" for the repipe but in my mind, I've already got the best plumbers in all of southern California and they never disappoint. With the big guys, you'll be treated like just another customer. With Prostar, you'll be treated like family.

Our toilet was clogged, and I called Prostar plumbing. I talked to Earl, and he came to our hour house the next day, he was so expert, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend the Prostar plublimg. Thank you, Earl!
