Nick was very responsive and easy to work with. He showed up for a quote within the time frame (even though our street had yet to be plowed). He was wearing a mask and was very understanding when I told him I had someone else coming by for a quote. He came back the next day and completed the job for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him and will use him in the future for other jobs!

Nick was prompt and so easy to work with. We actually missed him ringing the doorbell and calling, but once we called him back, he looped back around in horrible, snowy weather. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed our issue with the kitchen faucet and bathroom shower. We're so glad to now have a plumber we can call on for any future work! Thanks, Nick.

I am very disappointed that Nick is not responding to my text or phone calls. My sump stop working and Nick gave me three year parts and labor warranty. What is the point of providing the warranty when business doesn't answer their phones/text. It looks like they don't want to stand by it.

My sump pump was broken and the Proper team did a great job replacing it.

They got the job done quickly. Pricing was fair. And they were very professional (kept things clean, wore masks, clearly documented costs).

I'm very disappointed that Nick refused to reply to any of my emails, texts, messages, and/or phone calls about completing the job.Items not done or not done correctly :

1) The bathtub is not useable if the drain does not close, which was one of the key part of that project.
2) The toilet repaired does not work correctly and since the valve replaced was turned off after you filled the toilet, I wonder why? Either knew it didn't work or didn't test it.
3) The bathroom taps that worked are not running freely,
4) There seems to be MUCH air in the plumbing system after project Nick worked here and is causing some other problems.
5) Said the project would cost $1000 but charged my credit card $1800 - have asked for an itemized receipt of the parts purchased to justify. Will be disputing charge with bank.

I had hoped that he would live up to your reviews - sadly he only lived up to the bad ones. Will need to hire someone else to finish and repair his work.

Nick was great. I had water in my basement, he came out within 30 minutes, diagnosed everything and had it fixed within the hour. Fair price, professional and did a great job. Will use again.

I placed a service call between 9-10 because the thermocouple for my water heater is dirty he came at 1:30 fixed it but waive the charge b/c he was late thank you

Had a slow draining bathtub, contacted multiple plumbers and Nick was the only one who provided an estimate and was able to come out within the next couple of hours.

They arrived and fixed the slow draining tub. Prices were reasonable and services were excellent. Will definitely reach out again with any issues related to plumbing.

Nick at Proper Plumbing was great. They came out and provided a quote for several miscellaneous jobs. Shutoff valves inside the house for 2 outdoor faucets, replacing said outdoor faucets because they had been damaged in previous winters and hooking up our fridge ice maker. Nick was very responsive to provide quotes, fairly priced, professional and prompt when we decided to move forward. All the work is warranted for 90 days and I will be calling again if I have any other issues. Give them a call!
