Dima came to my house on time to install my shower door. The installation was definitely not easy, but it didn't seem like a problem at all for Dima. He followed the instructions well and did a very good job. My husband and I are super happy with the results. Will definitely call Proper Hour again if I ever need help in the future!

I had 9 window blinds to remove and 4 cornices with 9 new motorized blinds to install. They were able to send Dima out the next day to get this done. Dima was great and we love the new blinds!

I have hired Proper Hour handymen for a number of projects in the last few months. I have worked with that limb and Dan and both were very good, very willing to follow instructions, made things look great, made sure things were better than when they started the job. An example is that we were hanging lights that had a frayed cord, Dan noticed and fixed the cord with electrical tape to make sure it was safe and acceptable to install. This was above and beyond what I asked him to do. At times when we were discussing details, we used a translation app so we were very clear with each other, it was easy and we are happy with all outcomes of the jobs worked on.

The 2 handymen arrived on time on Sunday morning. Thy replaced two eave vents. They also routed an Ethernet cable for me and re-anchored some loose cables to the exterior wall. The fit and finish is outstanding.

Called on a Sunday for a quote to repair our front iron gate which hasn't closed for years due to shifting of the posts. Got a callback quickly, sent some photos, got a reasonable estimate and an appointment for the next morning. Viktor showed up on time, did careful and meticulous work, the job turned out to be a little more complicated than we expected but he completed it promptly and professionally and we couldn't be happier. he clearly takes pride in his workmanship. His lack of English was no problem at all with his translation app. We will enthusiastically use these guys again and I am already making a list! Highly recommend.

Sliding glass door wheel replacement

Overall went well, quick response, easy and quick to schedule, Ontime and even though the first visit the wrong item was repaired due to communication problems with my elderly parents they came back two days later and fix the glass doors correctly. Definitely recommend them.

We purchased, online, blackout blinds for two skylights and then decided we didn't want to climb up ladders to install them. After getting quotes from several handyman services, we chose Proper Hour Handyman, who had mostly good reviews and a low reasonable price quote. I handled the scheduling online. The handyman arrived a half hour late, but finished the project - one he had never attempted before - within two hours. No problems, very nice guy! I'd use these folks again.

Great service, good communication. I contacted them and provided my list and they said theu could get it done. They had availability within a few days. The guy who came out was friendly, courteous and capable. He made quick work of my items ( mainly doors/gates/latches that needed adjustment) good knowledge of carpentry.
I am very satisfied and would recommend.

I had used their service to repair / reinstall some loose bathroom floor tiles and to reinstall a new gate lock. Excellent job, reliable and smooth process end to end. Really took a lot of the usual headache dealing with unreliable contractors out of the way. Shows up to the job very punctual, and gets things done as expected and with reasonable price. Will use again any time.
The only less than ideal thing about the job was that they had sent a repairman that only speak Russian, and we had to use Google Translate which makes the communication difficult. It's probably fine if you are the completely hands-off type. However I typically like to understand from the person doing the job their assessment of the problem, what they are planning to do for the fix, and understanding what was done after completion. This is proven to be more difficult that I would like and I had to go through a project manager over the phone as in-between who does not seem to be fully well-versed on technical details of repairs. That said, the repairman was very pleasant to interact with and tried to be as helpful as he could, and the project manager was professional and polite. Coupled that with how smooth overall the full process was, I still decide to leave a 5 star for them. Great job :)
