You should believe all the bad reviews about overcharging and find someone else. The owner, Kaarlo, charged me over $1100 for 2 hours of his time. When I first called him for 2 fairly modest jobs (a frozen pipe to an outside faucet and installation of a garbage disposal), he said he charged $99 to show up and then ""charged by the item"". I assumed that meant a reasonable hourly rate. When he got done, he handed be a bill for $489 per job and says he charges that for any fix regardless of how much time it takes. The invoice had a place where I was supposed to have signed to approve his charges before he did the work. He never told me what he charged or had me sign it. Do NOT use this company if you care about cost!!!

Tried to charge me 2500 for 2 hrs or less of work. I have never felt so overcharged in my life. He spent nearly 1 hour quoting it, which would of been half the work of doing this small job. They charged 100 just to quote it. Camps plumbing came and did the entire job for 450. A 2000 dollar difference. Never calling this service again for any reason.

Chinook is good these guys are nearly criminal.

I've used a dozen plumbers over the years on multiple properties I've never been so viciously overcharged. And they smile when they do it.

Even if I was desperate I would wait until another plumber is available

Showed up as ageed, responsive to a minor emergency. Bills by the task/job, not hour + materials. Charges $69 response fee, then adds the specific task charge (which includes the materials). EG: Total of $370+ for a 30 min job to replace a broken (frost free) hose bibb (cost is about $50). On his truck he dIdn't have a plastic hatch/cover to put over the hole he cut in bedroom's sheet-rock. Said he'd come back to install one, for $40. I bought one at Home Depot for $8, installed in 5 min. Net: good enough guy, good work, expensive.

I have had Pronto Plumbing out several times to work on leaks and improvements in an old house. They are always prompt and have squeezed me into their schedule when the situation was dire. They have always done good quality work and I have been satisfied with their service.

We built a garage and the contractor got them involved. Their work was okay, but looking back we wish they could have made some recommendations about putting in more outside spigots while they were at it. I realize that's not really their fault for not making the suggestions, but would have appreciated more of an input from them on things like that. We had them out later to fix another issue with our water shutoff to the house. The workings were in a little box in the ground. (It's a really old house). They sent 3 guys out. Two stood around watching one guy work on the little box and charged us for 3 plumbers!!!! Really, there were extra charges for the two guys who didn't do anything but offer the one guy moral support! And they're not cheap. We have had several other plumbing issues since then and needless to say, we never asked them back. They lost good customers with that 3-man charge ploy!

Great service! I highly recommend Pronto Plumbing. Carlo came out quickly to check our water treatment system and then talked me though the process over the phone so I could run the system a couple of times after cleaning out the salt water tank. His prices are reasonable and his work is top quality.
