When it takes TWO different plumbing companies to fix a problem. There's a problem with the first company.
When the first company quotes a repair price of $450... then because they don't have the right parts to fix the broken pipe... adds another $185 to comeback the next day. There's a problem with first company.
When the first company's repair, needs repairing after 12 HOURS... there's a problem with the first company.
When the first company finally recommends to keep the water turn OFF at the Main Cutoff Valve ""until you need it, then turn it off again."" There's a problem with the first company.
When the first company measures the water pressure BEFORE the Water Pressure Regulator, and then tells you that the water pressure is too high, so that ""voids"" ANY warranty. There's a problem with the first company.
When the first company wants to re-pipe the entire house... using Copper pipe vs PVC... for $10,000... there's a problem with the first company.
When the first company wants to change the Water Pressure Regulator for $565. There's a problem with the first company.
Pronto Plumbing, was the first company.
Someone else... did the job RIGHT... The 2nd company replaced the Pronto ""repair"" and measured the water pressure INSIDE the house... and everything was within limits. No need to re-pipe the house. No need for a new Water Pressure Regulator. And I have a warranty ""for ANY reason"" form #2.
STAY AWAY FROM PRONTO PLUMBING!!! Poor Quality workmanship. All they want is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The Tuesday afternoon before Christmas, I noticed my main water line from the street (1.25 inch PVC) had sprung a leak and dug around it to see a pipe connector had loosened. Our usual plumber was unavailable so we called Pronto. They said they would be here between 3:30 and 4:30 pm in the afternoon. Two men, Ossy and Aurelio, showed up after 6 pm in the dark. I showed them the exposed pipe and they said it would be $675 to repair it. I asked why so much? They replied because it was 1.25"" and said if it was 1"" it would only be $475. I replied to them that we had another section of the same pipe repaired by another plumber for less than $200. I refused to pay this huge amount and told them I would repair it myself. I paid them their $35 call fee and sent them on their way. I went to Home Depot and bought elbows, glue, and pipe for less than $30 and repaired it myself. I will never call this company again. I can't believe they have BBB on their van.

I have used this company before and was satisfied with their service. The plumber that I used was no longer with them. So I call at 5:30 about an emergency. Someone was to be there in an hour or so. Three and a half hours later, no plumber, no phone call and no water at home.

I called Pronto Plumbing because I had a drain overflowing . The plumber was really nice. Great customer service . He arrive fast to my house. No wonder they are called Pronto Pumbing.

I don't really let strangers in my home. But these people treat you like a family when you are In need of help. And when they showed up they give you a price before they start the job. They have over 25 years of experience and they are the only ones I call when I need them. A little more then others but when you see the job complete and just from they way They work they know exactly what they are doing. I will recommend this company for anyone. Ask for Ozzie for your plumber he's a good hearted person.

This place of business should be ashamed of themselves!! My mom recently moved in to her new home in a senior community. She needed her washer and dryer hooked up. The day before she had someone from this company come over and hook up her stove. She felt that the price was reasonable considering the amount of time and work that it took him. The next day they sent out 2 different men. Don't know why they felt the need to send 2. The one could barely speak English so it makes you wonder if he's even documented in the states. My mo had already bought some of the needed supplies. It took them about 30 minutes and they had the audacity to charge her $375. They claimed it was for parts and labor. What parts? My mom had already purchased some of those parts. When my mom asked them if they really charge $300 / hr for labor, they didn't respond. The next day when she spoke to s supervisor, he stuttered over his answers and told her that he would credit her $75 on her next job. Ha!! Does he seriously think that she will ever hire them again? The stove cost her a lot less then that and the man was there longer. Better Business Bureau here we come. Shame on them for taking advantage of a senior citizen or anyone else for that matter! This is highway robbery without a gun!

They came almost 2 hours late and gave me a quote of close to $200.00 for a tub that the water was draining but very slow. Not for me I would not never pay someone that much. I called another company and they wanted under $60.00 for it. That is more a great plumbing company. I will never call them again.

Only thing positive I can say is that plumber arrived in under an hour though I was told 40 mins. Old plumbing - have to get the drains snakes a few times a year but my usual doesn't work nights and with this heat couldn't let the tenants go without a shower. They charged 3x my usual fee, plus took about twice the time to do the job and spent the entire time trying to push other jobs for crazy costs - and they don't warranty the work? (my usual does for 30 days). Never will give in to the pressure and take the only one who will show.
