Daniel and his team took care of a problem that we've struggled with for years. We had a strong gas smell and I thought we needed to get new units. Daniel explained that we still had plenty of life in our existing units. He recommended extending the exhaust vent up to the roof and they took care of it today. Problem solved and for far less money than I anticipated.

From the moment I contacted ProMax, I have been impressed. Daniel was responsive to my email and scheduled an at-home free estimate within the week. He arrived on time, wearing his mask and answered all of our many questions with ease and patience. Daniel promised three written estimates to help us make the decision on which tankless hot water heater unit we'd like to purchase. After he left, both my husband and I decided it was a no-brainer to use Pro Max, and eagerly awaited our estimates. True to his word, our estimates arrived within 24 hours. We had a couple more questions before making our decision and Daniel was very helpful in answering them right away. We made our choice and Daniel scheduled our install within the next week.
The technicians, Danny and Tio, arrived on time and also with their masks. They worked away all day making the finished install look neat, clean and professionally done. They made sure the unit was working properly and took the time to answer our questions about how the unit was operated. They were the nicest, most professional group of people that we've dealt with recently, especially with all that is going on. I wish I could give Daniel TEN stars!! In the past year, he has, replaced my tankless water heater, replaced my kitchen faucet, cleared up a small problem with a dishwasher install (that a major appliance store installed) and then today he replaced a drain pipe in the bathroom sink of my 71 year old home. The old pipe was very heavy cast iron, he replaced it with a new plastic pipe. I had only just recently noticed that I had a leak (inside the wall) when the drywall under the sink started to erode. This problem could have gotten a lot worse for me. Thank God for Daniel! He came on time, assessed the problem, figured out the best way to proceed and after explaining everything to me, he quickly and beautifully made the repairs. He is highly skilled, very professional and courteous, he has always arrived on time and his prices are fair.

It is a small business and I live that, since the owner takes good care of you... if he grows, he just need to make sure to pass that super-high quality service to his employees. Daniel recently installed a whole house Pelican Combo Filter and Water Conditioner to eliminate chloramines and hard water, paired with a reverse osmosis system for fluoride and other impurities that may exist in municipal water. Very pleased, as always, with the quality of work, the ease of communication, professionalism and knowledge over plumbing systems. Daniel narrowed down my whole house filter search to two systems and I decided for the more expensive system as the ongoing maintenance and cost was lower over lifetime of system after initial outlay. I do a ton of research on everything before I make a purchase - and that was the same when I decided to replace my 20+ year old 40 gallon gas water heater. I went to Yelp and Google when it was time to find someone to replace my old water heater with a more efficient and space saving tankless water heater. I read a ton of great reviews about Promax and I appreciated that Daniel, the owner and master plumber did all the work. From start to finish, he was straight forward, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. No pressure sale and very reasonable prices for quality workmanship. I ended up also adding an Aquasana whole house (no salt) water ""softener"" & filtration system to help battle the hard water and chloramine in our San Diego tap water. Daniel was great at keeping me updated on delivery and install - and punctual on our install day. In 6 hours Daniel and his assistant had everything installed and up and running.
