They cold call to solicit business. When I missed the call and called back, the woman was rude and ended up hanging up on me. I'm pregnant and struggling with such awful nausea, I didn't need her to give me a headache on top of it. By the looks of other reviews, this is a company to avoid.

**SCAM ALERT! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!** Let me start by saying I never leave one star reviews as it takes me a lot to get that far. PROMAG ENERGY GROUP is the sole exception and has made it quite easy to leave this review because of how horrific their so-called customer service is. I am a realtor helping my parents in the Orlando area and had them come out to fix a broken AC. They charged $600 and """"fixed it."""" Nope. None of the bedrooms were cooling down after he left and when I called today to ask them to come back out they had the nerve to state they would be charging another fee. I told them that was unacceptable as they have already been paid to fix the AC and nothing was in fact fixed. The person I spoke to about all of this said she would speak to the technician and get back to me. When she called me back she informed me that since we supposedly did not mention it could be a vent issue they did not address that specifically and would need to charge us to come back out. I have never in my life heard of a company putting it back on the customer for their shortfalls in THEIR expertise. First of all, we are not the AC experts, THEY supposedly are and furthermore the vents WERE mentioned. The unfortunate and shortsighted factor in all of this is that I happily refer companies that do a good job to all of my clients and other agents. I will be doing the exact opposite with this company and warn people to steer clear as they are an absolute disgrace. SAVE YOUR MONEY and find a company that actually cares about their customers and does right by them. Such a shame.

First the guy was very late and I had to make a few phone calls to get him here and had to reschedule other appts. due to him being late.( one was an interview) My story is much the same as the others on here and on the rip off report. He came and said I had a leak and it couldn't be fixed and I needed a new $4500 unit. I said that was not an option as I was not working and due to have surgery in 2 weeks. He gave me the same speel about couldn't put Freon in unit due to R22 ??? Then he called some one and said he could put Freon in it but he couldnt tell me how long it would last. They charge per pound. He said it would be $350. I asked if it didn't take all $350. worth of Freon would it be less? ( he said it was empty) It couldn't have been empty as my home was cooling at night fine it just couldn't keep up during day. He said thats impossible...I said its not because I can assure I have ac. He left and 20 days later...1 day before surgery I had NO air. Not even at night !! I had to go else where because they wouldn't come back out for few day and were going to charge another service fee. In mean time I had another ac guy look at it and He found the leak ASAP..It was very visible and I was able to see it. The other guy from Promag said it was leaking but didnt know from where??? The 2nd company said he could fix leak and put freon in for $600. I called Promag to complain and the owner of Promag actually said """" Well you should had guy fix it then and you'd have ac right now."""" I replied your guy should have fixed it! Your guy said it wasn't fixable and a needed a $4500. ac. I told the owner of Promag to give me my $350. back and I will have this other guy do it as thats what his tech should have done. Promag came back out only because I was referred by his relative. Once again the tech left to make a phone call. He said he would not fix coils but would replace them for $1800. Wait... I thought I needed a new ac??? now I have a coil option for $1800. Now remember I needed a new $4500 ac but now it can be fixed ? I wanted a refund of $350. as the guy knowingly charged me for Freon ( if he really put any in) knowing the leak was large enough it would only last days. Promag said that he couldnt tell me how long freon would last but could last 1 year or more. I would NEVER use or recommend!!

This was the 2nd system they installed for me I called on Wednesday because my air quit running. They said they would come out that day in a few hours, Fred came out. I needed a whole new system. They have financing, which is awesome too. They came out the very next day to install. Hector & Danny were my techs, they were clean polite and professional. My air is so nice and quiet, and cold!!! Thank you so much.

I returned from a trip to find my AC not working. I have been getting service from Promag for many years and have my system checked by them twice a year. I called them and they were able to make it out the same day. They gave me a window of between 12 and 3:00 PM. The technician arrive at about 1:20 PM and spent about 50 minutes and got the system working. He replaced the starting capacitor and installed a hard start. The cost was $675 which I thought was excessive considering the time he spent and the small cost of the parts he put in (less than $50). I called them and spoke to the owner about what I believed to excessive charges. I got no satisfaction in that conversation with him just telling me he needs to charge those rates. I think they take advantage of people in situations like mine. Recommend negotiating rates before any work is done.

Bad, real bad, demanding losers. They told us we needed an entire unit because the circuit kept tripping. They did the job the next day and went to start the unit. SUPRISE !!! The new unit tripped the circuit.... Seems the problem all along was a wire shorting out. The guy tells me the unit was six years old and needed to be replaced. A very expensive lesson. Don't use these losers

The installation team does good work but the company has shady practices. On top of taking over two months to come back and install the proper breaker after I had reached out to them twice and they stood me up once, they removed my old heat pump and installed a straight air cool system without discussing the impact with me. Yes I did sign the agreement but I was trusting they were installing the same unit. Why would you not!! Anyways had to spend more money to have someone else come out and do it correctly. If you want a company that does good work but you have to watch them closely this is the one for you.

I put in a brand new AC unit with this company , within 6 months there service department called and asked to schedule a service I felt that was odd but went along with the service its been 10 months since that service and I have been called no less then 15 times asking to service my AC again I was called 6 times in 3 days after many attempts to ask them to stop calling me I am still getting phone calls. I would never do business with this company again.

Took them three tries to pass inspection where they installed a 3 ton air conditioning for a house after they installed it it leaked water all over my garage floor because the drain was it put it right they came out three or four times clean the tubing Zhou did this put tire wraps on the shut off valve and food around on it off and I kept cleaning it in America flooding so I called him back again and found out the air conditioner was it put in their level and everything so the jury rig a thing put popsicle sticks in shims underneath the great moved at all around after three tries to three different technicians each one of them said I need to have it done and put it right and then I got a call from management saying that I had to go find somebody else to fix it because it was put in right they didn't listen to their technicians saying it had to be put in right they ignored me and they were nasty it's been five years now they still haven't fixed the problem time to go to the Better Business Bureau

May 7 3 three weeks in and the unit has not been operating correctly. Had to call again for a technician and was told I would have to pay $110.00 for the visit for an ac unit that was just installed. This is a terrible company and the owner will not even talk with his customers. Reprehensible conduct by the owner and his office staff.
