Called and Chase scheduled appointment for next morning and told me to turn off water. Plumber named Brian and his assistant Jessie did an outstanding job. Brian detected where leak in wall behind water heater. A daunting and time consuming job. The Job was done to perfection and these too men were respectful of property and went above and beyond in making sure everything was done to code. Competitive pricing and will definitely hire them if I am in need of great plumbers. I can't thank them enough! Thanks Brian and Jessie!! I hope you're boss knows how lucky he is to have hire you two.

You will not find any better plumbers than Duane, the owner and his crew. They know their business and are great investigators of a problem as well. Not only have they gotten the job done for us time and time again but they stand behind their work...

I called company left a message. He did not call back. I called 3 hours later left another message. He called back about an hour later. He stated that he would try to come that day, if not he would come the next day. He never showed up or called. I had to call someone else. His ad states 24 hour service.

We hired them to install a bathtub and ended up with a leaking faucet, detached drain with water leaking into our crawl space and a tub that is more than an inch from being level. Have been attempting to contact for multiple days with no returned calls. We have a contractor on hold to finish the job and have only asked that Duane would contact us so we know how to move forward. Nick and another worker installed the tub. After showing up 3 hours the late and the job taking 4 hours longer than we were told, I was informed that """"they ran into issues because they did not have all the materials needed and so they had to rig things up."""" Very unprofessional company to work with and would not recommend.

A 1952 house presents many problems to the average plumber. But professor Plumb is absolutely exceptional.....Starting with sewer gas and ending up with an obsolete cast iron sewer system created a nightmarish task. Throw in a clogged vent and the job became even more formidable.....But the technicians (especially Nick) and the owner completed the project with unbelievable skills. Today I have a modern """"high style"""" commode and an up-to-date plumbing flushing system. Many thanks to Professor Plumb, undoubtedly the best plumbing frim in the Birmingham, Alabama marketplace. Initially had to contact them several times over 2 weeks to get them to respond. They came out and did very good work on a kitchen faucet and a natural gas line. I had them look at some other items to provide pricing so they could come back to do. I have tried several times over the last 2 weeks to get them to respond with pricing and a schedule. The last time I did get them several days ago and they hadnt even started on the pricing nor looking at scheduling. They said they would get back to me - guess what no one has gotten back to me. I give up. Terrible company to deal with as they are unresponsive and unprofessional! I am surprised as they are a contract plumber that Home Depot Pelham uses!!! Huh?!?!?!

We hired this company to repair a gas line for our outdoor grill. On 6/15/20 the plumber arrived earlier than agreed upon (he was supposed to give a 30 minute heads up phone call...he arrived 10 minutes after the call and before I was even home. He didn't have the part needed so instead of calling us and leaving, he sat in his truck and smoked for 20 minutes (billing us for the time). He returned 5 days later to attempt to complete the repair. He arrived and 9:02 and left at 11:17am. At 10:52am he stepped through my 15 foot living room ceiling, leaving a huge hole. He immediately called my husband and said it wasn't his fault. He proceeded to """"clean up"""" for almost another 30 minutes (while still billing us for that time). My husband had to leave work early (again, costing us money), and I spent all afternoon trying to find someone to repair the drywall. The damage for repair and painting was 500.00. I called Professor Plumb the next business day to ask how much our bill was. Chase stated that it was 3 hours worth of work totaling 350.00. Over 45 minutes of that time was the plumber sitting in the van smoking on the first day and after he stepped through our ceiling on the second day. He had only actually done 2 hours worth of """"work"""" (10 minutes on 6/15 and 1.45 hrs on 6/19). The gas line still wasn't repaired!! He said there was a leak after working on the second day. I called every day for 5 days and spoke to an employee named Chase. I asked for the owner to call me. He never did. Chase said the owner attempted to call on Wednesday 6/24. I never had any missed calls or messages. So in summary two hours of actual work was done at 116/hour=232.00. The damage to the ceiling was 500.00. Professor Plumb owes me 268.00. I am out 268.00 for a job that wasn't completed. The owner will not contact me and will not pay for the repairs. Please spare yourself a lot of heartache and choose another plumbing company.
